Villa Rosamond was more than we anticipated. It was in a quiet residential setting close to the beach and shops. The garden and pool were wonderful and the children loved it!!
The villa was well maintained and provided everything needed for the holiday. The couch and table on the terrace provided an excellent relaxation area and enabled us to keep a close eye on the children.
We would not hesitate to recommend the villa to all our friends and we look forward to returning again.

It was a pleasure to stay in your lovely villa. It had all the things and items we needed...specially the rooms where very nice and the shaded terrace was a must with the vans. Everything great except for the ants atack every night whoom where able to work there way in with thousends of buddys. But that didn't spoil our stay on bit so overall it was a great vacation! And the views are stunning from the villa!

Exelent choice! thanks so much Stephen
Owner's Response: Thank you for feedback. We have found where your little ant friends were getting in and cured the problem but thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Excellent secluded villa with beautiful garden

Our family of 5 stayed for a week in Villa Rosamund, and we would highly recommend it. The garden is beautiful, well kept, quiet, with a good view over the woods and secluded. The pool was great, we enjoyed using the inflatables provided and the comfortable loungers on the terrace. The general standard of the finish of the villa is high, we appreciated the well equipped kitchen, the English books and in particular the wonderful large terrace with the sofa and eating area. Son Parc has a good beach and small supermarket nearby. It is a good base from which to travel anywhere on the island easily,

The perfect villa on the perfect island

Review Submitted: June 11, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
The bottom line of my comments is, we travel a few times a year, staying in villas, apartments and houses. We normally take a week, which we usually find long enough,. Staying in Villa Rosemond was the first time we unanimously decided that we should have spent two weeks away.

The villa was extremely comfortable, well designed and most especially, the garden, was well laid out. It took me about two days to realise the wallpaper on the computer was a beautiful plant in the garden, it looked so snazzy and professional like a Windows official issue.

The one minor problem about which bed was made up, was resolved by your local representative in a very short time, in a very professional manner, as were all contacts with you in the booking process..

The island is extremely lovely and so green, we couldn't believe it. I have an annoying habit of stating the obvious, repeatedly... Gosh, this is lovely. Oh, look at the sea, it's so blue. These trees are so pretty.

"I can't believe it is all so green" was my mantra on Menorca.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on Menorca and especially in your lovely villa. Interesting family photos made us smile and the discovery of the complete Molesworth stories, nestled away among a fairly good selection of books, just put the cherry on my week.

Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely villa (and give you lots of money, of course:o). We will quite probably be back. Believe me, that's not something we often say, with so many new places always still to be visited. Villa Rosemond and Menorca definitely deserve a repeat visit.

Lastly, not about your villa, I know, but we found the food on the island, without exception, the best we have had anywhere in Europe, at incredibly low prices. Three courses for 11 or 12 euros, usually. All home cooked and delicious.

Thanks.
Owner's Response: Thanks so much for the glowing recommendation.

Travelled October 2008
An absolutely brilliant holiday. The villa really lived up to expectations. Such a good size pool and the garden is delightful. The beach was great for the kids, so what with a few days there and the rest of the week relaxing at the villa, we did not get time to explore the Island, but we will be returning next year for a longer duration. Thank you Steve for arranging everything for us.

Villa Rosamond, Son Parc, Menorca

Going on holiday with 4 young children can be a daunting experience, the location and quality of any accomodation can make or break any holiday. Arriving at Villa Rosamond
was the start of two weeks of sheer enjoyment. The Villa is located in a pine forest with practically no traffic, one car, a motor bike and a man walking a dog was about as busy as it got. The Villa is set in well established gardens and totally secluded, with a fantastic pool which was regularly cleaned and became home to four excitable children,if not in the pool they were playing in the garden, all well kept, totally secure and safe.
The accomodation was perfect, the master bedroom was upstairs with it's ensuite, air conditioning and sun terrace and the view from the window was fantastic. The futher two bedrooms were a good size with plenty of storage space.
The kitchen was well equipted and outside there was a brilliant barbeque which was regularly used.
A car is necessary if you you want to explore and explore we did, however it was a ten minute stroll to pick up fresh bread and provisions in the morning. It was a fifteen minute walk to the beach, but with four children, buckets, spades and inflatables it's easier to drive !!!!!
We will be returning to Villa Rosamond.

Thanks for a great hoilday

We had a very nice stay at the Villa Rosamond in Menorca. Property was clean and tidy when we arrived. Fantastic pool and terrace. The villa has a good amount of natural shade from surrounding pine trees and bushes and well secluded from other properties in the area. Perfect base for exploring the island. Owner courteous and responsive.
