Luxury and perfect Villa. Feedback: 100% POSITIV

Review Submitted: April 17, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
The house is in perfect condition. Everything was well prepared.

Helpfull was the support of a german and english speaking manager, that was available anytime.

We most enjoyed the solar heated pool and the silence in the area.

Very nice was also that in the garage were 2 canoes and bicycles, which gave us the chance to see a lot from the nice and quiete neighborhood.

If we go again to Florida, we would rent this luxury house again, for sure.

We can recommend this property almost anybody. It is equipped for all ages. We were 4 adults and a 2 year old child.

Our daughter had a lot of fun in the heated pool.

Thanks again to Marny (the owner) for the perfect holiday we had.

Michael
Owner's Response: Dear Michael - Many thanks for your great review and we are so glad you all enjoyed your holiday in Cape Coral. Richard and myself are there now and loving the warmth and sun after cold Edinburgh! Florida is definitely the place to be in the winter. We also love the pool and hot tub - the hot tub is definitely high on our favorite list.
Regards
Marny

Excellant Choice for a Relaxing Getaway!

My fiance and I stayed here for 8 weeks during the winter of 2009. We were very happy with the place! It is beautifully & tastefully decorated. You can tell the owners take very good care of their house. We loved the pool & hot tub. The solar heater for the pool kept the water very nice. The backyard is very private. The house is located in a very convenient spot. It is in a quiet location and yet Publix (a grocery store) is very close by. Drive a little further and you'll find drugstores, fast food, etc. We loved using the kayaks that the owners generously share with their guests. (Ask Marny about the huge green iguana in the canal). There's also 2 bikes in the garage that guest can use. We had our own bikes with us and enjoyed biking around the neighborhood. There is wireless internet available at the house. We had our laptop but no wireless card with us. The house manager Heidi was kind enough to drive back over to give us a cord so we could access the internet during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone!
Owner's Response: Dear Steven
Thank you so much for your wonderful review - we are both so glad you enjoyed your stay in Cape Coral. As you so kindly say, the area is very convenient for all interests - biking, kyaking, walking and of course a visit to the beaches nearby are a few of the things available in South West Florida.Hope we can welcome you again to our house.
Regards
Marny

Whispering Palms

The home was very nice with good ameneties. The pool and hot tub were extremely relaxing. The interior of the home was tropically decorated and accented very nicely. We found the home remotely located and for us we would have rather been closer to the beach. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you.
Owner's Response: Joe and Eis

Many thanks for your review - I am so glad you enjoyed your stay in Cape Coral and found the house peaceful and that the pool and hot tub were extremely relaxing.

Our 'home from home' in Florida.

Frank and Freda Edinburgh
Review Submitted: February 6, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
In December we spent the month traveling from Mexico to Havana to Florida where we enjoyed Xmas at "Whispering Palms'. The 1st time we had been away from home and our family in 39 years. It was just great and like being at home without the kids.
The house is spacious, spotless and fully equipped with all that we needed for our stay. The decor matches the climate and is 'sunny', fresh and bright. The pool and hot tub were at a temperature that suits our age group and were used to the full. We did enjoy the Bar-B-Q which was an excuse to stay in at night although we found several very good eating places down the Pine Island Road, and the Irish Bar in the nearby shopping mall for a quick lunch. The owners give you a very full folder of information and places to visit along with maps etc and easy to follow instructions for the running of the house, which one assumes are from their own experiences. There is a modern 'picture album' for guests to leave or post a photograph of their visit, most unusual but a reminder for those returning of past pleasures.
You can easily make the drive to the beaches of Fort Myer, Sanibel and Captiva along with many other places of interest. My one regret was that I was talked into leaving my golf clubs at home, because of our itinerary, not next time, as I looked into the club which is right on the doorstep and was very impressed.
The next visit we have I have promised that I will also give the Kayaks and Bicycles a go, maybe not that far but I certainly will give them a try. Thank you Marny and Richard for sharing your wonderful home with us, we truly enjoy our stay and will be back, the sooner the better. Final note, watch out for the Police at night if driving back to the house having had a drink with your meal. they are very vigilant and sticky about STOP signs. This apart we will be recommending 'Whispering Palms' to our friends.
Owner's Response: Thank you so much for a fantastic review - I think I should mention golf on our site as there are so many courses in Cape Coral. It is always lovely to hear that people enjoyed their visit.

Best holiday in my life

There are just three word to say: It was wonderfull!
I would recommend this proberty to my family and friends. The interieur was very nice and everything was absolutly clean. There was nothing wrong with anything and Heidi was a good support for every question during our holidays. The best way to eat is sitin the outback or chilis - for breakfast of course Bob Evans. There were some tears in our eys on the way back to germany, but so many nice memories and experiences....
Owner's Response: What a wonderful review - thank you so much. It is always great to get more recommendations on where to eat locally. We haven't tried Bob Evans ourselves, so that is next on our list. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

Home from Home with a difference

WEBryan Inverness, Highland, Scotland
Review Submitted: December 9, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2008
When we stepped through the door for the first time it was like coing home. Whispering Palms is appointed like a real home and not one of those 'production line' rental jobs. Good taste in decor combines with all of the sparkling cleanliness, comfort and facilities required for a hassle free vacation.
Great dining and sightseeing within relatively short travel times. Perfect for folks from northern climes in the wonter.
We'll be back
Owner's Response: Richard and I are so glad you find the house so welcoming - we did try to get the balance right in setting up our ideal of a holiday home, but also trying to make sure the house has everything required for our guests.

We are back in the UK ourselves and miss the sunshine and peace of Florida. Can't wait until we return to Cape Coral in the Spring of 2009.

Many thanks again for your kind review. Marny

Lazy days at whispering palms.

We enjoyed our holiday very much and everything was really perfect in the house. The place is very quiet and perfect for relaxing. Next door stores may be reached easily by bicycle.
I hope that we can come again next summer!
Owner's Response: Thanks so much for your kind review - Richard and I look forward to welcoming you back again next year.

We have now bought two kyaks which are available to all our renters - to take advantage of the access ramp into the local canal - only 100 yds from the house.
