This holiday was the best we have had for a long time!

From booking to departing everything was perfect. Tracy offered great advice on car hire, places to eat and much more. The villa was just as described on the website; spotlessly clean, spacious and fully equipped with everything you could ever need and more!

The option of heating for the pool was a real plus for us, holidaying at the end of October. We were able to enjoy the pool in the cooler parts of the day as well as in the full sun (the weather was just fantastic).

The villa is in easy walking distance of restaurants, cafes, shops and the beach, but not close enough to be disturbed by any noise. There are so many different places to eat from Portuguese to Chinese so something for all tastes - just ideal in every way for our family.

Our teenage kids went surfing for the day on the west coast and really enjoyed a day on the water slides at Slide and Splash . The Beach Bar at Bergau was a particular favourite with us all.

We can't wait to return and would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful villa to others.

We are a family of 6 adults who have just returned from a week’s holiday at this superb villa. Firstly, I would like to compliment Tracy who made booking our holiday so easy and it was always a pleasure to deal with her.

Having stayed at other villas over the years we feel that we have found the best there is. It has everything one could wish for. On entering the house we all felt at home instantly and were more than impressed by the cleanliness, spaciousness and overall very high standard of the villa.

Our first impression exceeded our expectations having been more than impressed with the website. Another aspect that we admired was how well equipped the Villa was. Every need was meticulously catered for and the comprehensive folder with all the information catalogued to perfection made it a pleasure when planning which attractions or restaurants to go to.

The pool and pool area are perfect to relax in. Having the pool heated is a big plus as even in the cool of the evening it is so easy to enjoy some time in it.

A major attraction is the location as it is only a short walk to any part of Luz – e.g. Church, shops, bars, restaurants and beautiful beach.

We would have no hesitation in recommending this Villa to relations and friends provided we could go with them. Will definitely return in the future.

The villa was lovely, very well maintained and its situation was ideal. Just far enough away fom the bars and restaurants but still in very easy reach. It's description on the website was extremely accurate was finished to a very high standard, clean, spacious and very well equipped. We all felt at home from the minute we walked through the front door. The pool was a nice size for us and we were pleased to have the option of pool heating.

The resort was well kept and there were plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from but, to be perfectly honest, because the weather was so good and there was a bar-b-que "on site" we did not eat out much but the restaurants we did try were not a disappointment.

We did hire a car but we could probably have got to the resort without too much problem and the supermarkets were in easy walking distance once we had arrived.

Tracy had left a comprehensive folder full of attractions, restaurants and where to go and how to get there which was extremely helpful..

All in all it was a fantastic holiday and we will definitely go back to the resort and the villa in the future.

We stayed in this awesome villa for one week (19 - 26.9.09) and it was just great. The villa is modern, very well equipped and ideal for relax. We didn't miss anything at all. The inside of the villa is decorated very stylish. The pool area is perfect to relax, suntain or "swimming" in the pool (the pool is small but big enough to spend hours in it). We ordered the pool-heating for the week in September and didn't regret it once. To the centre of Luz and to the nice beach it's just a 5 min. walk. The Bakery is just around the corner. There is no better place to spend your holiday!

We have just returned from a week’s holiday at this stunning villa and can't find a bad word to say about it. We were 4 adults and 2 children and there was ample space both indoors and outdoors for us all. The furnishings and decoration are to a very high standard and you instantly feel at home upon entering the property. I would definitely recommend having the pool heated as the breeze can be quite cool, even in July. The area is simply lovely and Baptista Supermarket is a short walk away and they deliver free of charge. The only thing that was missing, we thought, was the ability to buy fresh fish in Luz, but, we later found out that Baptista had just opened a fresh fish counter; however, this is located a little way down from the main supermarket, just next to the Pharmacy. Well worth a visit. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend this villa to anyone.

The villa is the best I have rented.It has been renovated to a high standard and has everything you need for a comfortable stay in a 'home from home'

The beach,shops and a good range of local restaurants are all easily accessible on foot.

The pool is not large but this is a small sacrifice for such a great location.

I am great believer in the addage about first impressions. We stayed here between 27th July and 8th August 2009 and the reaction of our 3 teenage children as we opened the door and turned on the lights that first evening was 'wow this is by far the best villa we have ever stayed in!'.
That first impression turned about to be absolutely correct. The place is immaculate and beautifully furnished with an exquisite attention to detail. Some of the things that impressed the teenagers were that they could get English channels on the TV not just CNN as normal; the wireless I-pod dock, comfortable beds and the collection of DVD's.
The adults were particularly taken with air-con in the bedrooms, swimming pool, terrace area and sun loungers.
We found Luz itself delightful and the teenagers thought that some of night clubs in Lagos (5 mins and 10 euros in a taxi) even better (some of which do not open until 2am!!) by which time mum and dad were tucked up in bed sound asleep with shutters down and the aircon on so we couldn't hear what time they came in.
Our one recommendation would be Clive's Bar for a civilised late night drink in pleasant surroundings and good company.
In summary we did not want to come home, could have lived there cheerfully for the rest of our days and at one point thought about phoning Tracy and making her an offer she could not refuse to buy it.
Cannot recommend it enough and we are already looking forward to our next visit.
