We saw this holiday on-line and called the owners re some fine tuning to our booking, they were very accomodating and prompt with their responses.
The Owners were at the Villa to meet and greet our Party and were very pleasant and helpful with local amenities, bars, places to eat locally and taxi's (they even provided a local mobile for the calls to the taxi guy 'Steve' who was excellent). They had left us with a welcome pack in the fridge and enough wine to 'enjoy' our first night thoroughly.
The Villa was very well equipped and the internet was very popular for those 'facebook' addicts amoungst us. We used all areas of the villa's but the owners had locked the spare room off (the villa sleeps 8, we were a party of 6) which could have been a challenge had the mix of people in the party not been right, but was not a problem.
The pool area, barbeque and outside veranda seating area got very well used, everything looked almost brand new.
The Kitchen was very well equipped, with all mod con's including the best icemaking fridge ever, double cookers, dishwasher, washing machine etc etc...
The villa had a big flat screen TV in the main lounge which we connected our Wii to which was a bonus and was great entertainment on those rainy days (yes rain... we got drowned 3 days)The sky satellite TV never worked unfortunately but again no problem, they tried their best to fix it.
The layout of the villa was excellent, the positioning was great, there were no loud bars, traffic or noisy next door neighbours.
Within 1/4 mile from the villa, easy walking distance, there is a roadside bar "Pepa y Pepo" pizza bar VERY good PIZZA's and V handy for a quick snack at lunch or for a ice cold beer before dinner, very canarian, very pleasant, very friendly, generous with his 'freebies' and the owner spoke good english.
Next door to the pizza bar is a local restuarant that served the biggest steaks we've ever seen for 16 Euro's we had 2 between 6 and the doggy bag kept us going for another 2 nights !! The Par Three golf course 1mile up the road at Guaza is great for beginners and bandits alike, and Golf Americanos, or Golf Costa Adeje (make sure you get a buggy here) are within 15-20 mins in the car and fantastic courses.
Overall this is a fantastic villa, great location and we all had a great holiday, Thanks Jackie & Ken for your great place, we'll see you in the Summer 09!
All the best, Tom, Mariah, Chino, Pixie, Katie & Chris X
Owner's Response: Due to the weather, the LNB on the satelite was full of water and had to be replaced. It's working fine again now.
A lovely family and a pleasure to have in our villa.
