Wonderful Family Holiday!

D-W's Putney, London
Review Submitted: September 6, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We had a fabulous holiday. The villa was lovely and had absolutely everything you could ask for!
Our favourite beach was Tsambika - it's a lovely sandy beach and the children had a wonderful time building sandcastles. We came back to relax at the grogeous pool in the afternoons when it was too hot to be on the beach.
The neighbours are wonderful, and their cat had kittens which came to visit - our children thought that was an added bonus of the holiday!
We had three generations with us on holiday, and a good time was had by all. We will definitely be back!
Owner's Response: We are very happy that all of our guests continue to enjoy the Villa each and very time and that we have provided everything holiday makers may need. It is especially pleasing to note that different generations enjoy the facilities and we will continue to update the Villa and its facilities to appeal to a wide range of guests.

What a Gem!

What a treat we had at Villa Savra! The villa was perfect - with everything we needed, and the views were stunning (especially as the sun set).
The outdoor area was very roomy with enough loungers and chairs for everyone, and our 3 children were in swimming pool heaven.
We enjoyed the location - close enough to Kolymbia and Afandou for shopping and eating - but also away from the crowds so we could relax in relative peace.
The villa is fully equipped for cooking your own meals and the supermarkets are nearby. We often succumbed to the delights of Sweet Dreams - huge cakes and pastries and delicious fresh bread.
The neighbours were very welcoming and friendly, and Steve & Julia who look after the villa were also extremely friendly and helpful.
The location of Villa Savra is such that we were only 30 minutes drive from either Rhodes Old Town or Lindos - both fantastic places to visit. The 'taxi' to and from the Acropolis was an experience - brilliant!
A visit to the Ancient City of Kameiros on the west of Rhodes was amazing, as was the Castle at Monolithos (the views were spectacular).
An absolutely fantastic holiday in a gem of a location.
Owner's Response: We are happy you enjoyed your holiday and stay at the Villa. We aim to please with the managers on the island doing an excellent job for us from the feedback we have had. We look forward to welcoming you back again in the future!

Luxury in Rhodes

Rainz Cheshire, England
Review Submitted: July 27, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
This villa is stunning, it has not one, not two, but three wet rooms and every mod con you would need from the flat screen tv (with several hundred channels) to the stereo with Ipod dock to the X Box. The views are outstanding from the sea to the mountains, we were told that you can see several faces in the mountains when the sun starts to set but all we could see was Margaret Thatcher cum Queen Victoria (not very good at this obviously). The neighbours are lovely and always on hand if you need any help. Highly recommend this villa.
Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind review of Villa Savra, we are very pleased you enjoyed the facilities.

Our stay at Villa Savra

Di9 Wolverhampton
Review Submitted: July 26, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
We are a couple in our 60's and had a lovely holiday. The villa was very clean when we arrived and the grocery items were very welcome. The facilities are as described and as expected for a new Villa, there are plenty of chairs and places to sit inside and outside. The gardens have been well planted to provide lots of colour. Although Villa Savra is in a quieter location it is very easy to find all the supermarkets and shops for your groceries. We ate out at Carrousel in Kolymbia many times - they are big meals as the owners told us - although there is everything you need in the villa to be able to cook your own meals. The cakes from Sweet Dreams in Afandou are huge and gorgeous. We went on a boat trip to Symi from Rhodes town, very pretty place but expensive to eat, still worth going though as the journey itself was really nice. We loved Anthony Quinn Bay, Tsmabika, Agathi and Pefkos beaches - they are all easy to drive to as most places are off the main road. We cant wait to return for our next holiday which we have already booked and would reccomend the Villa to anybody.
Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind review - we look forward to having you as guests again! We are pleased that our hints and tips for places to eat and go to are useful for our guests and will continue to update these with any further feedback we receive from guests.

14 days of luxury.

We arrived at the Villa the 28 of june 09 by rental car from the airport. (budget), and was stunned by the Villa and the location. We had a lovely time at the patio and by the swimming pool. Nice sea view and very friendly neighbours. It`s location is perfect for sightseeing while it is close to both rhodes city and lindos and nearbyes! We also enjoyed Kolymbia very much, wich is the nearest center, and Carrousel Taverna is recommended! Good value for money, and great hospitality. Also a lot of small shops and nice jewelry/souvernis. The best beaches nearby is Tsambika, but we also fell in love in agathi beach in charaki. A calmer place and lovely sandy beach. Could absolutely reccomend also to go down to the south and to the old town in rhodes. A taxi trip from Rhodes port to the villa is 19 euro. It can be quite windy in Rhodes, but this is also good when it reach 40 degrees... We had a wonderful time, and all parts of our stay has been perfect! We would love to come back here!
Owner's Response: I am so glad the family had a good holiday as we try our best to ensure all possible facilities required are there at the villa, and to give as much information as we can regarding the island and Villa Savra before guests travel. It is the perfect compliment when guests wish to return!

We stayed at Villa Savra in June 2009. We will be definately going again! What a beautiful location the Villa was outstanding we expected something basic but were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the estblishment we felt like a King and Queen for the time we stayed. Next time we come we will be bringing the rest of the family it sleeps up to eight people. Rhodes is a jewel there is so much to see. You do need car to visit the many places of interest from the Acropolis at Lindos to the many beautiful beaches - the people are the best and are so friendly= dont go all inclusive as the food is fantastic - We would reccomend it highly will be booking next year!! Thank you so much!!!

Living like greek gods

Review Submitted: September 10, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
Villa Savra is a really great place to stay. We lived like greek gods in this fabulous villa. The house had everything we needed and it looks exactly as it is shown on the internet. Also the neighbours John and Liz are very friendly and helped whenever they could.
The near beaches Kolymbia and Afandou are really great and you have to try the taverna “Carousel” in Kolymbia.
The island of Rhodes is very big and it would make sense to rent a car, because there is a lot to explore.
Hope to come back
