Fabulous Memorable Break

dwheelr Manchester
Review Submitted: July 22, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
What a treat this was - we arrived having read all the reviews and the Tower did not disappoint! Cecil and Clementine have stocked the place up with everything you could ever want and more - thanks for the bread milk butter etc in the fridge! I made the mistake of promising Karen breakfast in bed each morning which was a tortuous journey up the stairs, but great exercise. The gardens are truly exquisite and the wonderful peacefulness of the place disguises the fact that you are actually within 5 minutes drive of 4 Gastropubs, a Morrisons and Waitrose. Loads of interesting places to visit and, weather permitting, a fabulous summerhouse with sun loungers to enjoy the late afternoon heat.
Whilst I don`t want to see the place getting booked up too quickly, I can`t keep such a wonderful secret to ourselves!
The people in the local village of Ombersley were extremely friendly and we have taken e mail details of a lovely couple we shall keep in touch with.
We will be back! Best eating haunts were The Cross Keys, Hadley Bowling Club & another newly refurbished pub in Ombersley the name of which escapes me.
Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your wonderful review.
You have left very helpful advice for future guests.
We would be delighted to welcome you back to the Tower sometime in the future. Cecil.

Tower of Tranquility

Alan & Jackie Fareham, Hampshire
Review Submitted: November 14, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
The tower was everything we had hoped it would be from the previous reviews and description, providing a perfect weekend escape. The standard of accomodation is first class, from the well equiped kitchen to the very comfortable sitting room, relaxing bedroom and luxurious bathroom. Cecil and Clementine have created an island of tranquility in the midst of a very busy and entertaining area.

We did not bother cooking in the tower as there are fantastic eateries very nearby. We would highly recommend the Cross Keys in Ombersley and the Hadley Bowling Green Inn. Both provide eceleent food at very reasonable prices. You will need to book in advance for the restaurants in both, but if you are happpy to eat in the bar you do not need to. Be there for 6pm though as they both get very busy, very quickly. Be there for 6pm though as they both get very busy, very quickly.
Owner's Response: Many thanks for the excellent review and advice for future guests. We look forward to having you back to the Tower in the future. Cecil and Clementine.

What a fabulous getaway we had. The tower is every bit as good as it looks, the surrounding location is simply gorgeous and everything we could have needed was provided for us. A big thank you to the owners for letting us stay in such a high spec, clean, tidy, relaxed and enchanting place. I cannot recommend it highly enough. We hope to return sometime soon.
Owner's Response: We are most grateful to you for your very pleasant and encouraging feedback. We strive to ensure our guests enjoy their stay and we are delighted that you found the place satisfactory in so many regards. It is good to know that you would like to return and you will most welcome.
Cecil.

SPECIAL WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Review Submitted: August 26, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We decided on this wonderful tower as a place to celebrate our 33rd anniversary and are so glad we did.
From arriving to a chilled bottle of wine and all the extra special touches left by the owners it was a wonderful place to stay in.
We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed the sun in the garden and summerhouse.
We would love to visit again.
Owner's Response: It is feedback like this that encourages us to try and go that extra step for our guests. Thank you so much. We would love to see you again. Cecil and Clementine.

Romantic getaway

Ldn couple London
Review Submitted: August 25, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
The Tower provided us with a perfect weekend escape. It is a beautifully maintained place which accomodated all our needs. The owners were helpful, approachable and very thoughtful, leaving lights on for us for our late arrival and a few essentials in the fridge. We also had good weather so were able to take full advantage of the lovely summer house and gardens with a stock of lovely treats from the Ombersley stores. We're already planning a return trip so that we can also appreciate it in the Winter. Thanks again.
Owner's Response: Thank you for taking time from your busy schedule to leave such kind feedback. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to receiving you again on another occasion. Cecil.

Cannot fault it. Absolutely perfect for a romantic getaway.
Owners are wonderfully accommodating and approachable.
Change of ownership mid-booking had no effect.
We are trying to not tell too many people about it in order to be able to re-book!
Owner's Response: Thank you for this lovely review. Clementine and I look forward to welcoming you back to the Tower some time in the future. Cecil.

Our stay at the Tower surpassed my expectations. It is a wonderful place to relax in privacy and the surrounding shared grounds are beautiful. We were beautifully cared for by our hosts and I would recommend this as a lovely place to spend time away from everyday concerns.

Amazing experience

Review Submitted: March 15, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
We were expecting big things of Falcon Tower, did it deliver ?
Mere words and even pictures cannot convey the aura created by the owners of this Fairytale property !!
We felt at home as soon as we arrived, when we left a week later
It was ! Time just dissolves here, we could go on, go on, go on……………..
If you are thinking of booking don’t !! Just do it, if you are disappointed the next place you should book is via a Funeral Directors !!

Stunning rural retreat

What a find! The Tower is steeped in history yet is maintained to a luxury standard with attention to detail paramount. An open fire greeted us along with provisions provided by the welcoming Karen, perfect accommodation! Our days were spent with trips to the Malvern Hills and nearby Whitley Court (a must see) as well as just chilling out with a glass of wine and watching the sunset over the surrounding fields.
Thanks so much to Karen, we intend to return!
