Fantastic property

I have stayed with my two children at Aldwick lodge twice now, and am going back next week and again before Christmas. It is perfect for our needs as a family. Large spacious rooms, really comfortable beds, always immaculately clean, and the bonus for my children is the huge toy room...and the family who run the house are great and cannot do enough for you to ensure your stay is good. Plenty of parking space, within easy walking distance to the beach and local shops. It just feels like home now.

We spent 1 week in aldwicklodge. Our kids are 13 and 15 years old. They enjoyed the flatscreens in every room and the garden with the trampoline.
The cottage is very confortable and clean. We can recommend it to everbody.
The hospitality of Morgan and Kees is great! they helped us and did everything, to make our days in aldwicklodge nice and comfortable.

Relaxing Holiday Break

Review Submitted: August 20, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
The house/apartment was just as imagined and both Morag and Kees were welcoming and helpful.

The apartment was spacious and had lots of room for the kids to run around - there were 6 of us altogether, 2 adults and 4 children and the layout meant that when the small ones went to bed we could relax and watch the TV without them waking up.

The bedrooms were comfy and relaxing and very large, the shower was wonderful and the children enjoyed themselves alot.

The beach if just a short drive down the road and it wasnt busy, bognor itself is only another 5 minutes along the same road.

It was ideally located, comfortable and welcoming. Luxury to be able to have a dishwasher and washing machine too.

Would recommend it to all - especially families!!

We have been at Aldwick Lodge in July. It is a very lovely place with all daily things you need. Fam. Bouterse made as feel at home, helped us with every little question we had, booked as our tickets for the London-Trip and gave us the feeling of being part of the family.Every day was just like coming home.
We recommend all of you to visit this beautiful Lodge.
Best personal regards

Lovely house in Aldwick

We had a brilliant time! The house is beautiful - clean and very spacious with everything you need and a nice garden. There's a shop and cashpoint nearby which is really convenient and it's close to Chichester, Bognor and Portsmouth so we got to explore. The owners were really helpful during our booking which was great. We would definately recommend for a getaway.

Lovely place to stay

We loved staying in this cosy accommodation that was more than spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 children. The children enjoyed playing with the toys and when they were asleep we relaxed in the cosy living room with a bottle of good wine. The owners are very friendly and make you feel right at home. This traditional english house has a very central location and its great for exploring the historic towns and sites in the area. There is a super market just around the corner (and some large ones a bit further in town) if you want to self-cater. (the kitchen in fully equipped) but there are also many good restaurants close by. We also visited a number of good farm stalls in the area selling wonderful (home made) treats. The beach is about 20 minutes on foot along a nice road passing quite a few characteristic houses. I can definitely recommend Aldwick Lodge as it is a wonderful place to stay at a good price in a lovely atmosphere!

weekend getaway in sunny Bognor Regis.

Review Submitted: January 31, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009
There was a very warm friendly welcome at Aldwick Lodge. We were happy at the open attitude of Morag and Kees at allowing us to bring our dog. We found the accommodation to be more than adequate for our needs, with our large family. The children were never bored as there were lots of toys and games, not to mention the fabulous trampoline in the garden. The owners recommended a pool complex in Selsey which being only a 20 minute drive was really good fun for us all. We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation and hope to visit again soon. Many thanks to our hosts.

Return to UK

Chris & Nikki New Zealand
Review Submitted: January 25, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2008
After an extremely long journey from New Zealand we arrived at Aldwick Lodge. It was just perfect...It really was spacious, as described, and considering there were 3 generations of us we certainly needed the space!! The sussex scenery is beautiful - countryside, beach, town, something for everyone... we also went for a day trip to London, about one and a half hours by train (Morag got us a great deal on the trains) Kids loved having wireless internet access and our youngest played on the trampoline non stop!! Thank you Morag & Kees for everything, good memories to take back to NZ.

Beautiful Sussex

We komen hier heel graag.
