Nobody of us wanted to leave beautiful Vila 40 and Cascais. We were 2 families from Norway (4 adults and 4 teenagers) sharing the villa for a period of 14 days. We should have rented it another 2 weeks, 3 weeks or longer. You never get bored in Cascais as the area has so much to offer as to great beaches, good food, tennis, golf, riding, kiting, surfing, shopping, markets, culture, nice and friendly people, fresh air, sunshine. So many things to do and see and at the same time we only wanted to stay in our Vila 40. Very quickly we felt it as our home. The interior so chic, the pool area so nice. A kitchen I really wanted to bring home with me. So comfortable and relaxing. That is for me surely a part of being on holydays. Waking up early in the morning, taking a swim, eating breakfast outside by the pool, just taking it easy, not being in a hurry. Maybe after breakfast a quick trip into Cascais for some shopping, home for lunch, riding in the afternoon, eating dinner out in the evening. Nobody sets the hours for you, the day is all yours and everybody does what they want to do. All activities only minutes drive or walk from the villa. My youngest boy plays tennis, and I can warmly recommend the tennis coach recommended by our fantastic host. You are not only renting a villa, you also get the best host and the best tennis trainer who again can recommend the best sights, restaurants what to do and see. Many of us went riding as often as we could and we can recommend the riding centre at Quinta da Marinha. Great horses, great instructors. I'm writing a lot now and it all summarizes down to that Vila 40 and Cascais is such a good combination. We certainly will be back. Already prebooked for next year.

This villa is everything and more that is advertised. The layout of the villa is very well planned and user friendly for people in wheel chairs. Its clean and equipped with everything you could possible need on a holiday.
Luiza Alberqueque is one of the warmest people I have met. She even organised for us to have manicures and pedicures at home!! There are all kinds of electronic facilities, so one did not have disgruntled kids with us.
We had a wonderful stay and plan to go back next year.

We stayed at the start of September in order to have a base for the Laser SB3 Worlds, and the villa was lovely and only 10 minutes drive from the marina. The owner could not have been more helpful, and if you are thinking about renting this villa, or going sailing in Cascais, you should go for it right now, and look no further! The villa is just as it appears in the photos and the facilities are excellent and the kitchen well stocked with every imaginable utensil.

"Vila 40" was everything that I'd hoped for and can't think of a more perfect location to holiday. The villa, the pool and garden were stunning (even better than the website photos suggest). The contemporary design and decoration made the place unique. It was like staying in someones beautiful home. So much thought has clearly gone into the villa to ensure all guests enjoy the "Villa 40" experience. But what made it extra special for me was the owner's (Luiza) helpful and considerate approach - amazing customer service. We were a large group, some friends were staying in separate accommodation in Cascai, but we based ourselves at Villa 40. It had everything we needed! Luiza went out of way to make us all feel welcome and was flexible with all our requests. The entire trip was perfect and we're planning a return visit!

Five of us spent a fantastic week at vila 40 during half term. The vila itself is stunning both inside and out - everything you could want is there ! Bathrooms to die for, modern clean kitchen with every gadget you can think of, airy spacious rooms with superb views of the beautiful pool and gardens.
Not only that, but the area is peaceful and pretty - what more could we have wanted !
We have stayed in Cascais on numerous occasions - Vila 40 is undoubtedly the best accommodation we have found - we will certainly be going back !

Hi guys,
Normally I don´t like to write any comments regarding my holidays. But this “Villa 40” was such a nice place, that I have to do it.
Is a perfect Villa, either to stay with your family or a group of some friends. We were looking for a relax Easter holidays and we had it. Very calm place with many trips to do close, any sports (golf, surf, bikes etc..) to do only 5 minutes away from the villa.
I really recommended this villa, I hope we could be back for next year.

House very nicely and stylish furnished and equipped. Inn the area (max.15 min.) all you need for holiday, gourmet & quick bite restaurants, sailing, sunny beaches, golf courses, tennis, horse back riding, culture you name it…
Why to stay in the stinking hotels when you have chance to stay ***** house with less price.
