Cotswolds Holiday

The Minstrel Ireland
Review Submitted: September 11, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
This is a well laid out nice clean cottage in in the quaint little village of
Winchcombe. Our group are all seniors in our late sixties and early seventies, 5 in total, and with three bedrooms, two bathrooms a very
comfortable lounge and a well laid out kitchen plus a parking space for our car we were well set up for our holiday in the Cotswolds. One of the big advantages is the location, it was so easy to reach most of the places that we wanted to see, like Bourton on water, not to be missed, also Lower Slaughter and indeed most of the beautiful little towns and villages in the Cotswolds. All in all we had a great holiday and have no hesitation in recommending the Blacksmiths cottage and the Cotswolds for a holiday.
Owner's Response: It is my pleasure to have you and we hope to hear from you again. We are so pleased you all had a great time and enjoyed The Cotswolds and surrounding area. Thank you for taking the time to write a review.

Six of us stayed in Blacksmith's cottage in Winchcombe for a Cotswold's weekend break. The cottage has a warm cosy feel, comfortable bedrooms and a great dining area which was perfect for the evenings. Loved the cottage and Winchcombe town which has great pubs and eateries. Highly recommended!
Owner's Response: We are so pleased you had a great time. See you soon Sarah

Blachsmiths Cottage, Winchcombe

Cottage was very clean and comfortable and in a good location for town. Owner very friendly and extremely helpful.Winchcombe is very quaint and most importantly, a very dog-friendly town, especially the pubs, even at meal-times (and you don't have to sit at at a table outside!)We particularly enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast at 'The Plaisterers Arms' and midday sandwiches at 'The Royal Oak' in Gretton. A beautiful part of the country with lots to see and well worth a visit.
Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am pleased the dog enjoyed the Cotswolds as much as you !!

Hi sarah

Sorry in taking too long in getting back to you. My friends and I had great time and the cottage was lovely, clean and every thing we could want.
Two things one not enough car parking spaces and better to have single beds or just one double bed.

We are looking to go away again so if you have any offeres in the future, please let me know.

We all had a great time at this property. It is so close to lovely restaurants. We love walking and there are some fantastic views and photo opportunities. The cottage was well equipped, even with shampoo and shower gel.

We will be returning to discover more of the Cotswolds soon. Thank you
Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Happy New Year, see you soon. Sarah

We had a great couple of days here. Only a short drive to CheltenhamRaceCourse, we had a great weekend racing and eating out in the FAB Winchcombe restaurants. The cottage was well equipped and very clean.
See you soon.
