Fantastic Getaway!

I stayed at Lemon Tree apartment three times, once in May,twice in autumn. Twice on my own for personal retreats/walking. Last time with partner and parents.
I fly to Dalaman and enjoy the coastal bus journey to Kas. Regular buses from Dalaman bus station to Fetiye and then another to Kas. Once I shared a taxi to Fetiye then a bus to Kas. (Fly with First Choice/Thomas Cook). Friends have hired a cheap car from the airport. The management company are very helpful and can arrange transport to/from the airport.
It's ten minutes walk from the bus station/shops/harbour/beach. The apartment is clean, well maintained, tastefully furnished, with fantastic views over the bay from the front balcony. I appreciate the air conditioning when very hot. I enjoy shopping for groceries at the local friday market down the street. The council spray the street so mosquitoes not a problem. Take repellant if eating out at night. I enjoy swimming from the local pebble beaches and Limanaza beach a 20 minute boat trip across the gorgeous bay. I enjoy relaxing on the balcony and wondering the pretty streets of the old village which is clean and safe for me on my own as a woman. The apartment has a lovely kitchen area and the balcony splendid sunsets so I've timed my meals to watch. Me and my partner enjoyed eating at Mama's restaurant near the harbour. There are many delicious restaurants and great for vegetarians! The beds are all comfortable. Great for mountain/coastal walking (on the Lycian Way) - the most splendid and varied walking I've ever done. Regular bus/boat services to local places of interest and walks/Lycian Way. There are rock tombs along the road from the apartment and a unique amphitheatre facing the sea – another place to watch the sunset. The highlight on my last trip was a boat trip to Simena with my partner and mum. We saw Lycian ruins and swam in the turqoise sea offshore. I hope to go back to Lemon Tree Apartment next year either on my own or with my partner. Karunavapi x
