Me and my other half stayed for a week in Sep 2009. The location was perfect for what we were looking for - quiet village with culture but easy to drive to the town nearby and perfect for a day our in Pisa or Florence (but don't be stung by paying £20 for ice creams in central Florence as we were!). Easy to find with the owners directions from Pisa airport.
It is brilliant that there is a lovely pizzeria about 30 second walk away, very authentic and the best food we had anywhere! Owners are lovely and don't speak a word of English but this added to the fun.
The apartment itself is lovely, well maintained and clean. Part of a big property with pretty gardens and pool. The maintenance person is also very kind and helpful with great English.
When we were there there were other English apartment owners staying who came in really handy when we needed advice and directions - definitely a plus as they are also all very friendly.
Would feel comfortable in recommending to anyone, you'll not be disappointed.

My partner and I stayed here the last week in September 2009. The apartment was tastefully decorated (no chintz!) and very clean. It was easy to find from Pisa airport and easy to collect the keys.
Located in a small quiet village and lots of great places to visit nearby. Nice touches were wine and pasta in the cupboard, plus a fine selection of DVDs if you fancied a quiet night in. If you fancied going out there were also some lovely places to eat close by!
We had a lovely time, the weather was great, even at this time of year and the communication with the owner was excellent.

we spent a really great holiday. the apartment was better than our expectations, comfortable for 4 people and a baby. within a week we managed to visit many places around, even Assisi and Perugia (with the best gelati). the most lovely were small places like San Miniato, Lajatico.

Fantastic Holiday

We spent a week in this beautiful apartment, which makes for a peaceful retreat from the daily grind of work work work...

The apartment is situated in a peaceful village, with spectacular Tuscan views. The locals are very friendly and even though neither of us speak Italian very well they made every effort to get to know us.

We were lucky enough to stay at a time when there was a local festival which meant we dined al fresco with around a 100 of the locals from the surrounding areas it was a night to remember.

The apartment is conveniently located within easy driving distance to Florence, Pisa and Lucca to name but a few. It was great to come back after a day sight seeing to make dinner and eat it by the pool and enjoy with a glass of wine.

All in all a great holiday and we will be back again. Ciao

We spent one week in the apartment as our honeymoon in July 2009. It was exactly what we needed and was just as described by Lisa. The description regarding the apartment, location and facilities was very accurate, and we found it to be an extremely well kept, newly renovated apartment with lots of lovely touches (board games, books, DVD's, CD's, bottle of wine on arrival and olive oil, pasta in the kitchen etc). The apartment was very clean, and we received good communication and correspondence with the owner throughout.
We spent a lovely week there, during which time we lazed extensively around the pool (!), did lots of cooking, and had lovely trips out to some surrounding towns & villages - Casciana Terme with it's wonderful gelateria, Lucca, Florence and the beautiful Cinque Terre clinging to the cliffside on the Ligurian coast.
All in all, a thoroughly relaxing break & would highly recommend the apartment. Thankyou :)

Booked this apartment for the first time in Sept 2008, first time to this area, great for getting around Tuscany, visited Lucca, Pisa, Sienna, Volterra and San Gimignano to name a few. Visited the coast, Livorno and a lovely little seaside resort called Castiglioncello (how fab is that name).
Visited again June 2009, as I found the apartment to be charming and very well equiped, you couldn't ask for more, everything you need is there.
Soiana where the apartment is located is a lovely village, and the views across Tuscany from the pool area are fabulous. Great little Pizza place in the village, the Pizza's and pasta dishes are great, the owner and his family are great hosts and make you feel really welcome. There is also a little bar in the village, great for a morning cappucino, or an evening drink, again the owner is very welcoming.
Also visited the spa in Casciana Terme, for a relaxing spa day, the thermal pool is great, you can use the pool without having to go in the spa, which I would recommend. Some good restaurants there also, and is only a ten minute drive from the apartment.
Had a fabulous time and will definitely be going again.

The apartment was stylish furnished and well maintained. The property is clean and has a nice terrace with a splendif view over tuscany. On the terrace is a swimming pool with sun loungers available from may to oktober.

In the lounge is an LCD-TV (only italian channels) with DVD-Player. In a corner of the loung is a fireplace too.

The apartment is located in the near of Pisa and you can reach a lot of favourite sight-seeing places in tuscany within an hour.
