Reviews of Property: Luxury Austrian apartment Flachau 1 bedroom Ski or Summer.

The apartment lived up to expectations and more. It is very comfortable, easy to keep clean and has all you need. I would not hesitate to recommend this to family and friends. The local transport (buses) is very easy to use. The local eating places are excellent, except perhaps for the Pizzeria, which is nearby. If you like soup you will never be disappointed. You MUST visit the Musistadl - restaurant with live music. Excellent. The Austrians are extremely friendly and helpful. The scenery is marvelous. Walking is a must as there are lovely locations to go to and depending on your fitness, you can just meander or stride out. It had certainly lived up to the description on location and layout.

We are a family of 4 and we visited the appartment on Aogust 2009, and we were very happy with the appartment.
It is equiped with everything anyone can asked and the sinary is amazing...
If I will ever be again in the Salzburg area it will be my first and only choise...

An excellent, modern, well equipped apartment set in a picturesque location on the edge of Flachau. Just what the brochure promised and more. Secure underground parking and a quiet location.
As it was summer, Flachau proved to be a great resort for the walking holiday that we had planned. Having purchased a Salzburgerland card and hired a car we were able to use many lifts and undertake different walks. Also enjoyed a day in Salzburg which is close enough to visit.
As the flat was so well equipped we did our own cooking of evening meals. One point to note is that on our arrival early Sat evening the supermarkets were shut and remained so on Sunday so we had to eat out then.
I would happily recommend this property to friends and had a very good booking experience.

I would whole heartedly recommend this apartment if you are looking for a comfortable base for a break that takes you away from it all. The accommodation is of an excellent standard, and has everything that you would need in a holiday home and more! Both the housekeeper and owner are both very friendly and very helpful.
Location was ideal for getting to the slopes, ski school and wining and dining.
Am definitely looking forward to going back!

If you want to wake up with an amazing view of the alps then this is the place for you. A stylish,spacious apartment which has fab floor to celing windows in the lounge and bedroom so always feels light and airy. The great underground parking facilities deserve a mention as they are completely secure and you don't even have to scrape your car off in the mornings! Another factor is there is a lift so if you're travelling with someone who's not great with stairs or in a wheel chair access would be easy. The ski bus stops near by but if you have a car you can drive to numerous ski resorts within 20 minutes drive. If you're up on the slopes there are plenty of places to eat self service or waiter service and you don't always need to speak German though it does help- thank goodness I had my husband with me!
Can't recommend restaurants as we cooked for ourselves in the kitchen which had everything you could possibly need.
Ski hire etc is close by but I'd say it was just a tad too far to walk to the slopes with all your ski kit/boots on.
Lastly the apartment has a huge balcony which would be fab in the summer for dining and sunbathing or just gazing across to the beautiful snow capped mountains on a cold winters nights.
