Reviews of Property: Spacious Penthouse Apartment on Bay of Palma Mallorca

This is the second time that we have stayed here. We have two young children, 1 and 3, and the apartment and the location is perfect for us.

First the location. Illetas has a wonderful little beach. It is secure and does not get too crowded. From the apartment we can take the lift down and push the kids in their buggy down to the beach. There is a little lift from the car park down to the beach which means you do not have to negotiate any steps.

Within walking distance of the apartment there are numerous restaurants and shops, including a big supermarket. There is also a bus stop just outside that has a regular service to Palma.

The flat is luxurious and was spotless when we arrived. The bedding had been changed. the views are amazing and with all the terraces you can get the sun all day. The swimming pool is on the same floor and it is really quite hard to find any fault whatsoever. We have already booked to go back this summer.

Having returned from Illetas I don't normally write testimonials,but having rented many properties over the years they are never quite as the broucher describes them.
They forget to tell you it's beside the railway line. This is the exception. So I feel I should pass this little gem on but don't tell everybody as we would like to return.

It was immaculately presented and spotlessly clean. the open plan living area was bright and airy, beautifully furnished to a high standard and with out exception all the appliances worked which was a first for us. There is a good sized balcony of the living area with a barbecue place and being a few floors up and on an elevated position gives you panoramic views over the Bay of Palma.

The bedrooms are all a generous size with plenty of hanging space and very comfortable beds. The ensuite are good and the showers have excellent water pressure.
The master bedroom has the benifit of a balcony and views over the bay. There is also a bed settee in the large entrance hall which can double as another bedroom.

Illetas is a quiet location with very little traffic and access to beaches, restaurants and a small supermarket all a short walk away. There is a regular be service to Palma which departs close to the front door of the apartment.

We look forward to returning.

I have been fortunate to stay in this apartment on four occasions. Each time I have enjoyed great views over the bay of Palma from the balconies and have found the apartment to be well equipped with spacious living areas. The bedrooms are a good size and the area is peaceful overnight.

The facilities in and around Illetas are perfect for those who enjoy a peaceful break with a choice of restaurants and shops. There is also an outdoor pool behind the apartment and a small beach within a 2-3 minute walk. On the days when you feel like venturing into Palma it is easy by road.

I can recommend the apartment for a relaxing break and look forward to my next visit in the near future!

A spacious and beautiful appartment with great views of the sea. A beach is nearby as well.
It was clean and well maintained.
Lovely to sunbathe in swimming pool area which is 1 minute walk from appartment.
Spacious and has UK TV and Sky TV though not Sky Sports.
Local restaurants have Sky Sports.
Close to a number of high quality restaurants.
If you want to access Palma you can use the bus but I would recommend having a car so you can explore the rest of the island.

We are a family of 4 and are renting this property every year as we love it so much. The place has got everything you can dream about from large balconies with scenic view to cocktail blender. We have taken 4 people with us on a few occasions and it worked out well too. I personally like spending the day in Palma and discovering the island. My kids love splashing in the pool and my husband enjoys his newspaper on the terrace while our kids are asleep (you can also hear them from the pool). The owner also gave us the name of a qualified babysitter and this allows us to go out in the evenings to various places.
