Villa Hunter is a beautifully designed and well furnished villa in the hills above Paphos in the pretty village of Tala. Every comfort and detail has been thought of and it is a real home-from-home. Highlights for us were the comfortable beds and sofas, the outdoor sofa and the colourful, fragrant garden.

We would highly recommend this villa for anyone wanting a relaxing and peaceful holiday just 10 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Paphos.

Review Submitted: February 22, 2009 Date of Stay: November 2008
Our holiday started when we got off the plane at Paphos. After picking up our hire car we used the very detailed directions provided by Peter(including pictures) to find our way to the villa. The villa was great and exceeded our expectations. The pool was heated to just the right temperature and was used every day.Gary who looked after the pool was really friendly and organised a greek night in Tala for us which was excellent.Tala is a feiendly little village which we frequented most evenings.Jane and Peter did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible and we would have no hesitation in reccomendinga visit to Villa Hunter

Best holiday villa ever

Review Submitted: January 25, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2008
This is the best holiday villa we have ever stayed in. It has a large contemporary feel , beautifully furnished and in a great location being only 8 mins walk to Tala square while enjoying fantastic views over the paphos coast.
The villa has every thing you need, really comfortable beds with luxuary bedding, some thing we have found to be very rare in other villas. The heated pool is lovely and a must outside of summer, it made our time around the pool very special. The villa is in a quite location with great views and beautifull gardens. We loved the wooden decked area for eating out and enjoyed the cypriot BBQ .The car was a must really but it was only a few minutes drive into paphos or the lovely beach at coral bay.
The tavernas in Tala are excellent , great food and some entertaiment meant we rarely ventured far from the square in the evenings.
Tala has a lovely cypriot feel, great food and also much better value than the more expensive coastal area.
The service from Peter & Jane in managing our booking was great. The house infomation pack is really usefull and makes using the villa easy. The directions are very clear and even include photographs to make your 15 min drive from the airport really easy. We used the car hire company recommended by Peter and got a free upgrade.
A really nice touch was when Gary who managers the house called to see if all was Ok on our first morning. He showed us around the property so use of the satalite TV etc was easy. Also recomended some lovely tavernas, do visit the Last Castle, near Lara beach & also the vine yards at Kathakis.
Thank you once again, you have a lovely villa and are great hosts. Booking for next year already as i know you will be full in the busy holiday weeks.
Regards James & Marie & family

June 08 holiday

I have to say that Peter and Janes villa is the best standard of accommadation we have ever had. It definately has a 'home from home' feel. We always felt looked after by the guys who look after the property over there, and they were avaliable to speak to at any time of the day. There are some great bars and restaurants in the local village so we never went hungry or thirsty. If you want a totally relaxing holiday but with the option of a bit of excitment, Peter and Janes villa is a great base. We enjoyed our holiday so much we've booked to go again. Thank you Peter and Jane

Looking forward to our third visit !!

Review Submitted: January 23, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2008
We have spent our last two summer holidays at this fantastic villa, each time with our three "children" ( 19,21 & 24). They absolutely adore it. Private and beatifully appointed inside and out. Peter's information pack is invaluable with info on beaches, restaurants and other activities within reasonable distance. The walk into the local village square takes only 10 minutes or so, where you will find a couple of very friendly bars, 6 restaurants/tavernas all with their own character, and a good wine bar shaded under trees and vines.
The private pool is fantastic and very very welcome in high summer when the temperatures soar into the high 30's.
We would recommend a car to get the most out of all the places to see in this part of the island, and there are plenty of options at the airport for car hire.
We are going back again in three week's time for our 30th wedding anniversary (without kids!) and can't wait !!
Thanks Peter & Jane

Returning to the same holiday home says it all for me. Excellent accommodation, modern both inside and out ,extremely well kept with stunning views all help to make a very relaxing holiday for a family with two small children. And everything you need/want is within easy reach with a car. Many things to do and see, highlight for the children being the Waterpark at Paphos.
We'll be back..........again!

Review of secluded villla

Review Submitted: January 13, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2008
We spent a very relaxed week at this villa. It was very well equipped and very tastefully furnished. It was a pleasant walk into town and the property was well maintained.

The nearest beach was 10 minutes away and was very sandy but quite busy so it depends what you're after. We went at the end of July and it was exceptionally hot!

a luxurious holiday

Lugo South Lanarkshire
Review Submitted: January 13, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2008
We are a middle aged couple who rented this Villa last June; although bigger than we needed, it was worth every penny for the luxury it afforded. It has been finished to an exceedingly high standard and its cleanliness is outstanding. It is a 15 minute walk to a few restaurants in the village but if you have a car there is a variety of restaurants in the area to the usual high Cypriot standard. Of course the BBQ is fabulous with such great local meat available. Peter and Jane offer all the information you could possibly need for an enjoyable peaceful holiday
