Reviews of Property: Luxury, large 2 bedroom duplex apartment, with pool, sleeps 4

I’m not one for bothering with reviews but I had to give one for Goa. It was possibly my best holiday to date. It’s a gorgeous place with really friendly people and very relaxing. This apartment was just perfect. It’s well situated and really clean. The apartment was stylish and modern with beautiful oil paintings in every room. It was wonderful to come back to a clean apartment twice a week as the maid service was excellent. It’s on a lovely quite complex with the most amazing pool. And the services were great, especially the lovely Vinny – the assigned driver. We were thankful to have him and no trip too long or too short. All in all I give this place 10/10!

Goa itself was brilliant - lots to see and do. We had the best time and will certainly be going back at some point. We went to some stunning beaches which were mostly quiet and relaxing as we were there slightly out of season. One of the best things is massage on your sunbed by one of the many talented locals. The food was also extremely good and I am quite fussy when it comes to eating out. In fact we didn't have a bad meal anywhere. We ate from a la carte menus to Goan food to Chinese to Italian to a Sunday roast. It's all there if you want variety which I was really surprised at. My favourite restaurants are probably Jamie's and Fiesta - both in Baga. Also Afer 7 in Calangoot. All recommended in the handbook in the apartment.

The Goan's can certainly teach us a thing or two when it comes to customer service also. They are always friendly and polite and nothing is ever to much for them. The Goan people really make Goa a special place to visit. They are warm, friendly and have a great sense of humour. We had some really good laughs with them.

Lastly - I would like to thank Lil for making the booking so easy. She had everything organised for us ready for when we arrived. There were no hitches and everything ran smoothly. We found ourselves making eggs on toast most mornings for breakfast and a few lunches as the kitchen has everything you need and more. In fact it's just as well kitted out as my kitchen at home! Stay in this apartment if you want a happy holiday, luxury and comfort. It's got it all! Jan.

This was my second trip to Goa and I was excited to be staying in an apartment rather than a hotel and have those home comforts I missed last time, especially as we were staying for 3 weeks. The apartment itself was fantastic, the photos just don't do it justice. The rooms were really big, light and airy (and cool - thank god for air con and fans) and everything was very comfortable and user friendly, you could see a lot of thought went into the decor and it was simply lovely to stay in such gorgeous (and very clean) surroundings. The resort itself was quiet and we even had the pool to ourselves at times! The grounds were immaculate and I even witnessed people cutting the grass by hand with scissors! I was so pleased that we found such a great place to stay on such a special holiday.
The location, again, was fantastic. Apora is very quiet and the resort is off the main road so you dont hear any traffic noise and the infamous 'beeping' system they have in India. This was also great as no 'odd' smells were ever around when relaxing by the pool. We were 5 - 10 minutes from everywhere; Anjuna beach, Baga, Candolim, whatever we fancied doing was possible as it was so easy to get too from the apartment.
I would strongly suggest you use the recommended taxi driver Vinny. He is a local man and provides an excellent taxi service (at the best rates you will find - we found that out the hard way when we used other taxi's). He is really chilled and great to be around, there was never an awkward moment and he really does want you to have the best holiday possible.

We just got back from 3 weeks in GOA and it really was amazing!!

We stayed at THIS apartment in Arpora and it really is the business, it's decorated with real style , the rooms are nice and spacious, the pool is clean and really well kept, the views from all windows in the apartment are really quite special and it is overall a very comfortable space indeed. The maid service was also excellent.

We hit all the beaches in the area including Ashwram, Baga, Aranbul and Anduna and i can honestly say that they're the best beaches i've ever been to, beautiful!!

We used a local taxi guy called 'Vinni' who was recommended to us by the other people who have stayed at this apartment, if you do rent this apartment (which i highly recommend that you do!!) then please use this guy, he is so courteous, helpful and a real pleasure to be around, he'll show you the sites and take you to all the best places!!

We have been going to Goa for twelve years, north and south, this is the best apartment we have stayed in. Modern luxury accomodation with everything you need and more, very clean and well-maintained. This apartment is in a great location for getting out and seeing all the best bits of north Goa, beaches, markets, etc.
The owners are great communicators and very helpful, we would have no hesitation in booking this apartment again.

Had a fantastic holiday in this most beautiful and well equipped apartment. The attention to detail is superb and the beds are especially comfortable, I had the best nights sleep ever. The views from every angle are stunning and the location is perfect. Having the night market opposite the resort was a real bonus. Not far to the beaches, with the closest only 5 minutes away. Having use of the hotels facilities next door was a real bonus too. If your ideal holiday is one of sun, good food and staying beautiful surroundings, this is definitely the place to stay. I can't recommend this appartment enough, and the communication with the owner was superb. Can't wait to go back next season.!

This apartment is a wonderful haven away from the hurley burley of this part of goa.
It has all mod cons a pure delight in a great setting but within easy reach of beaches,plenty of choice of restauraunts etc The owners are good communicaters so make rental easy . Highly recommend.

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in this luxury apartment.The photo doesn't do it enough justice. Its beautifully located,just outside town but with easy access to town and beaches. The apartment is new and with all modern facilities including a fully equipt, spacious kitchen living room in dark marble and matching tiles.There is T.V. and music availability and aire con in each room. Bedrooms have access to a balcony or roof top terrasse which is have beautiful views and are well maintained.
There are many attractions, including a lovely swimming pool, a midnight market,hotel restaurant near the apartment and a lively nightlife only a short distance away.
The staf and customer service within the duplex was very good and friendly. I would recommend this property to anyone of any age group with or without children, who are looking for a different kind of holiday.
