In juin 2008 after 5 day's cruise in the islands of Croatia I spent 5 days living in a house on the Island of Solta. It was a very nice and functional house with a panoramic view. I love the natural pool in the rocks, perfect for young children.
If you want sun, clear water, rest and calm, this is the perfect place.
I will return with pleasure

Owner's Response: This is a very good idea to rent a cruiser or a yacht and then come for one or two weeks on this island which is not very far from SPLIT marinas and its airport. We have received people from the USA, the UK, Germany, France and Sweden (in this case) and all of them were very satisfied.

On an island in front of SPLIT, in a paradisiacal spot, a house with a lot of charm and very functional in a nestling in a bosky bower where the cicada are singing on the pine trees. A fantastic view where you can see sometimes some yachts, a private beach with a little natural swimming pool which is a delight. The sea is perfect up to nearly 30° during the summer what permits snorkelling and fishing. A little paradise just two hours by plane from PARIS.
At 5 minutes, there is an authentic village where you can find one market and the restaurants for different budgets.

WONDERFUL HOLIDAYS IN DALMATIA

I spent with my future wife very nice holidays and people were very helpful and nice; we arrived with a yacht in the village and spent a few days in MASLINICA in this villa among olive trees and in front of a few little islands. I recommend it to people looking for authentic mediteranean place coming with a yacht or by plane.

it's an excellent adress to take time without noise , only the sea ,the sun in a quiet place.for a family. it's was good for me to make dinner and in a same time saw my childrens in the garden without any car;the population was great,and we bought fish to the fisher near the house.
the island was mervellous and it's very easy to take boat to visited split.

Very good holiday beautiful house very clean with a lot of space;very confortable. Cross the street and swing into the gorgious Adriatic You can stay without car ,because all stores restaurants are very closed by the house

The perfect spot to spend a few days (weeks would be better) on the sea side, 5 minutes walk from a charming mediterranean fishermen harbour. Looks like the French Riviera before it was overcrowded. The house is the one you're dreaming of (view over the sea and an little island. Very well equiped, plus a little boat, plenty of beach tools (snorkle, fishing canes...) The owner's are very nice people. Highly recommanded (we come from France and we plan to return in this house for our next holydays).

Sehr angenehme und praktische Villa, unter anderem mit Ruderboot, Flossen, Tauchermasken und Schnorcheln, Aussendusche und Grill auf der Terrasse (mit Möglichkeit, morgens im Dorf frische Fische zu kaufen). Die Terrasse bietet einen paradisischen Blick auf das Meer.
Auf beiden Seiten des Hauses lädt ein Wanderweg zum Spaziergang entlang der Küste ein und bietet mehrere Zugangmöglichkeiten zu dem unglaublich klaren Wasser.
Als wir da waren (die zwei ersten zwei Wochen im Juni), war in dem kleinen Hafen-Dorf (10 mn von der Villa zu Fuss) eine sehr authentische, sehr wenig touristische Stimmung. Nur einige Restaurants, ein sehr kleiner Lebensmittelladen und ein Mini-Internet-Cafe. Auf der anderen Seite des Dorfes befindet sich ein süsser kleiner Steinstrand mit Bar und Mini-Fussballplatz (Vorsicht, viele Steine und Seeigel: an Wasserschuhe denken).
Split, ¾ Stunde mit der Fähre entfernt, ist eine faszienierende, historisch interessante und trotzdem junge Stadt, die unbedingt einen Tagesausflug wert ist!
