We - a family of 4 - stayed in this comfortable and well done upper ground floor appartment for a week in July. The description is accurate. Furthermore, the living-room with a big plasma TV, the main bedroom with a very comfortable king sized bed and one big wardrobe. High ceilings, stucco walls and wooden floor. Running hot water always. Clean bathrooms and kitchen. There is an old church in front of the building on the left and a high hotel building nearby. It is within a residential area.
As regards the facilities, we would recommend Sainsbury's (from 8am to 12 pm, except Su till 9pm) very close in Cromwell Rd to get anything you may need during your staying.
There are also pubs, starbucks, Italian restaurant, Indian restaurant, Burger King, newsagents in the nearby area.
Bus 74 is 25 metres from the appartment and together with bus 14 go to the city centre easily.
Natural History Museum is 15 min walk from the appartment or just take bus 74. Harrods is 30 min walk or bus 74.
Our daughters loved Madame Tussaud's and the zoo. We liked The British museum, The National Gallery and Albert and Victoria Museum. We all enjoyed a walk along the Serpentine in Hyde park as well as St James Park and a boat ride to Greenwich. We went shopping in Oxford St, strolled around China Town (Gerrard St), Covent Garden (Octopus is an original small shop for teenagers) Picadilly and liked the lively atmosphere in Trafalgar Sq.
As regards food, we loved cakes in pastisseries and cold/hot drinks in Starbucks. My husband was fond of "fish and chips" in pubs.
The owner provided good service.

Wonderful first floor flat

My wife and I stayed here a couple weeks ago and enjoyed this property quite a bit. It is 3 blocks from tube access, has numerous little restaurants and 2 grocery stores all within short walks. Adam, the property handyman was quick on the scene when we had a small snafu. Would definately stay here again. Much bigger property then it looks, wifi worked grand, and large TV in living area.

We stayed in this apartment in late September and agree with all the comments posted above.

If not for the friendliness and grace of Adam, who greeted us, this would be a really bad critique of the cleanliness of the apartment. Adam went some way to ameliorating my feelings by cleaning the main bedroom shower during our stay, however to pay an amount for final cleaning really stung! (Take a look at the tiled splashback around the toilets, and the bathroom floors please!)

There is also a bad odour of stagnant water in the foyer of the building, which we mentioned to Adam.

The apartment needs some re-arrangement of robes and cupboards, the robe for the 2nd bedroom, which is in the hall way, seems to be full of gadgets. The apartment is well lit and well-furnished. The beds were quite comfortable, although it took us a few days to sort out the "summer weight" duvets. Perhaps an "instruction booklet" for the apartment might help?

The apartment is very central and we would certainly stay in the area during our next visit to London.

Thank you Adam for all your assistance.

Came to stay at Courtfield Gardens earlier on in the year for a business trip with a colleage. It was a great apartment with plenty of room for both of us. We only stayed for 3 nights but received excellent customer service and managed to mix a bit of pleasure with business as there are a few pubs and bars around. It was great to have internet access from the flat. Shops and tube are a 5 minute walk. Am definately comiing back with my wife and kids as they would love to see the sights.

I stayed in the apartment early this summer for 5 nights with my Husband. We loved the location and the apartment was exactly what was required for our stay. The apartment is well equiped and beautifully dressed. The apartment is very close to great attractions and little eateries. We had a friend join us for a couple of nights in the second bedroom, which Gerry was very accomodating to. The men went to a football match at Stamford Bridge, which was very near by, whilst I took advantage of the shopping in Oxford Street. The service provided was second to none. Looking forward to next time!

My husband, our 2 children and I stayed in the property in August this year. Firstly the contact person was very friendly and helpful, very receptive to our needs. The flat was very large, ample room for our family, which was great, we loved being all together instead of being in a hotel which we normally do. The owner even asked how we wanted it to be arranged! There was plenty of contact before we arrived, which reassured us as we have had a bad experience when travelling to London last year. In close proximity there is everything you might need, shops, restaurants, pubs and parks. We visited the museums and travelled into the centre of London. The kids loved seeing Big Ben and The London Eye. Overall we enjoyed our stay so much we are now looking at dates to come back next year!!!!

My family and I stayed in this flat during our London vacation. The property point person was very friendly and we loved how convenient the flat is to transportation and eateries. What we did not like about the flat was the condition of some of the rooms. The bathroom in the master bedroom was in bad shape. The mold in the shower was awful. The shelving in the shower is rusted. The shower head is caked with gunk and fell off when you turned on the water. The bathroom in the hallway was barely usable as the sink leaked and the toilet handle would fall off when you would try to flush it. The bathroom in the 2nd bedroom had rusty shelves in the shower as well. The doors in the 2nd bedroom did not close. If these issues are addressed, this flat would be a decent place to stay as the other rooms were comfortable and clean.
Our overall rating is: FAIR.

This was a great location for our family for a vacation in London. The tube station was very convenient with a grocery store and lots of restaurants close by. It was a nice place to come "home" to in the evenings to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. Gerry and Adam were very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed (including getting the internet connection back up and running when the service providers system went down).

I would stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

We stayed here for the April school vacation week (USA), and had a great time. We took the Tube both ways from and to Heathrow with no problems. The Gloucester Rd station is nearby with 2 full service grocery stores. We bought 7 day Oyster Cards, and found the Tube easy, clean, and efficient to ride. Ciaran and Gerry were most accomadating in making our stay perfect.
I would highly recommend this flat.

Great Location - Comfortable Beds

We stayed for a week in March and enjoyed a great vacation there. Four of us stayed comfortably in the flat, which is ideally located near the Gloucester Station tube stop, wonderful museums and a very vibrant neighborhood. This is a great location for getting around London and a comfortable place to come home to. The beds were very comfortable, especially after a full day of walking. Gerry was very accomodating and was gracious in fulfilling our requests.
