Trip to The Grange

We had a wonderful Bank holiday weekend with our friends and family at The Grange. The house is a perfect venue to enjoy time with a large group and has just about everything you could need and was better than we imagined it would be from the photos we had seen. I would definitely recommend it and we cannot wait to go again.

An elegant, comfortable and very spacious house. A perfect place to spend time with friends and family enjoying good company, delicious food and the finest wines known to man! The kids loved the house and garden and as we were lucky enough to have lots of sun we also got to visit all the great beaches on the north coast.

We had a fantastic stay here, the pictures on the website don't do it any justice at all.

The place was immaculate, the kitchen fabulous & a really nice touch having the dinner table set up for us all ready.

There was a group of 14 of us for the weekend and we found the facilites spot on.

Dawn the house keeper was an absolute joy.

Comes highly recommended by us!

What an amazing weekend!!! The Grange is stunning and will provide anyone that visits with a stay that they will never forget. There is so much space for everyone to enjoy themselves, and if you want somewhere to go where you will feel truly comfortable and say wow round every corner this is it!! We didn't leave the house for the whole weekend. The dream kitchen was the place to be and when the weather turned good you couldn't get us out of the garden!! I would recommend a stay to anyone over and over again, and my friends and I....... well we didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back!! Thank you!!

Long weekend at The Grange

We hired The Grange for a long weekend and had an excellent time. The house is huge, every room is spacious, even the smallest bedroom is big by normal standards and having so many rooms ensuite is a real luxury. The cinema room is impressive and the dining room was very grand and made an excellent setting for our murder mystery party.

We made good use of the Tennis court on Saturday morning until it rained so we spent the rest of the day inside. The house is so spacious and has so much to keep us occupied (games room, board games, cinema room etc.) we forgot about the rain. I would very much recommend The Grange.

We came for a 30th birthday and stayed the weekend at The Grange. A fantastic time was had by all, what an experience. The place is amazing, stunning grounds and the manor itself is immaculate, cosy, spacious and so well equipped. There was nothing we could fault but so much we could rave about. We didn't leave the manor all weekend as there was no need, everything was there including a games room and the entertainment room.I have recommended the place to so many friends since our stay and can't wait to go back for another visit.

The Grange is an ideal retreat for those of us that live in the City to get away and enjoy the company of friends and all be under the same roof. The accommodation is fantastic plenty of sitting rooms all bedrooms with en-suite facilities and an entertainment room to watch your favourite DVD and make it your friends too! The house has a wonderful feeling of splendour that allows you to indulge yourself for a weekend. There are plenty of places to visit around the Grange with some fantastic National Trust properties to visit.
I particularly liked the large kitchen with its central work station and space for everyone to sit round the kitchen table and read the Sunday papers together
The weekend was great, with the house providing everything we needed

The house and its grounds are amazing. The first thing everyone said as they came through the door was 'wow'!
All the rooms are spacious with good views and have lovely bathrooms. The kitchen is huge and has plenty of facilities to cater for a big group.
The sound system was a particular favourite of most people and the house has enough rooms to spread out if you are all together the rooms are big enough to fit you all in.
The weather was fantastic while we were there but even if it hadn't been I know we would have still enjoyed it. We had a great time and I would definately go back. It was such good value for money.

We stayed at the Grange for a mid week break and loved it as did the rest of the rest of the family. We have stayed in many places but were really impressed by the cleanliness and the very well equiped kitchen. It was also great to stay in a property with so many bathrooms. All the rooms were rather glam so there was none of the usual grumbles on who gets which room. The kids were very happy with the cinema and games. We are planning to come back soon but for longer - a mid week break is not enough!!!

Weekend at The Grange

Beks 40 bash London
Review Submitted: May 20, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
I recently spent a weekend for the purpose of a 40th birthday and 30th wedding anniversary combined in this delightful house. We found everything exactly as discribed and shown in the property details. We found the owner to be very friendly and helpful to the point of providing details of where to obtain the best and freshest produce for my saturday night dinner. The welcome we received on arrival was warm and informative. This house has it all the cosy aga warmed massive kitchen to gather around the table for a great breakfast, combined with the lovely light filled yellow room in which to escape and grab a quiet moment to yourself. Then the impressively set Dining room brings a stylish touch to any celebration meal. The entertainment room provides an excellent setting wheter its music or a DVD which we found is best viewed in stunning detail with the lights out on the state of the art projection system. Then there's the beautiful grounds where you can watch baby rabbits playing in the grass, or take a nice relaxing stroll up to the river bank. A perfect way to walk off your breakfast. The house has 7 gorgeous bedrooms the most impressive being on the first floor. A snooker, table tennis and football table along with well stocked kitchen utensils, equipment and china finish off the package. A totally enjoyable experience which i have no doubt i will be repeating in the future. If you want a tranquil setting with a touch of class for whatever the occasion this is the house for you
