Fantastic Villa

Review Submitted: September 15, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
We thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay at the villa. It was clean, modern and well furnished with everything you could need. The pool was empty most of the time, but the locals are very friendly, We met Jay from the airport and he was happy to tell us everything we needed to know, including where to visit etc. It takes roughly 15 mins to get into Alicante, 20 mins to the airport and 40 mins to benidorm. I would definately say car hire is a must.
The local supermarket sells everything you need, but there is a much larger carfoure in Alicante should you need anything else. Would definately reccomend the villa for any kind of holiday and will almost definately be re-booking. Many thanks

Our stay at Alenda Golf Villa

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday this will be perfect. Set amidst the mountains, the complex is so peaceful. The villa was immaculate and was like home from home. It was safe for small children as the complex has secure and spacious grounds with a childrens pool as well as a pool for adults.
I would highly recommend you hire a car as it is very quiet on the complex, literally only catering for the Golf fanatic, but Jay and Clancy provide a fantastic taxi service and nothing is too much trouble and they are available night and day to take you wherever you want to go. Everyone was very friendly, even down to the local supermarket owner.
The restaurant at the Golf Clubhouse was spotlessly clean, with great, friendly service. Definately recommended for a peaceful relaxing holiday.

We had a great week in Alenda. The villa is very spacious with 3 double rooms and a bathroom. Bright, clean and airy with a flat screen tv, i-pod dock, x-box and PS2 - which helped keep the most demanding teenagers happy.

I would recommend this to friends for a relaxing week in the sun.

Nicki, Pete and 3 demanding youngsters!

Our Fantastic Holiday!

Review Submitted: August 24, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
I went to this villa with 4 friends for a relaxing week in the Sun. The Villa itself was spotlessly clean, well looked after and on a beautiful golf resort. The 3 bedrooms were a great size, there was 3 bathrooms, large lounge and fantasic terrace as well as a lovely kitchen/dining area. What more could you want?
The pool was well looked after and very rarely had anyone else in it apart from us! Just the sort of relaxing holiday we were looking for.
It was only a short taxi ride to the beautiful city of Alicante where there was an abundance of restaurants and bars.
The on sight shop has everything you need or a larger supermarket about 15 mins car journey away.
We even enjoyed a drink at the golf club sitting on the terrace. A glass of wine was only 1 euro 50!
Would highly recommend this villa to groups of friends, couples and families alike! Great holiday!

Review of Alenda Golf holiday villa

We thought the property was very clean and well-maintained. The owner of the property gave good cusomer service throughout and gave us all the contacts and details we needed. We would recommend the property to friends but would stress that a hire car or taxi service is essential if they are wanting to eat out in the evening, as the club house which is a 15min walk away dosn't sell hot food after 4pm. There is a local shop which is always well stocked which also takes approx 15min to walk. The villa is well equipped and the pool is situated just a few metres outside the front of the property, a lovely relaxing holiday.

First class

Review Submitted: August 1, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
Just returned from a memorable 2 week break. The standard of the villa was first class with more than enough space for our family of four, with all the rooms being large, and the two well appointed terraces being a great place to relax and enjoy the fantastic scenery.

The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, which is ideal for those who, like us, enjoy going for walks.

The pool area, which the front of the villa overlooks, is spotless and well maintained, and the rear of the property gives fantastic views across the golf course.

On arrival at the airport, we were met by Jay, the Property Manager, and, within 30 mins, were being shown around the villa.

The villa is situated within 25 - 30 mins away from the main towns such as Alicante, with it's excellent beaches and lively nightlife, as well as Elche with it's old town, which is well worth going to see.

Benidorm, with it's aqua park and zoo is aprox 50 mins away.

On this occasion, we had decided against hiring a car, for no other reason than we figured out it was probably cheaper and easier to use Jay's taxi service. Nothing is too much trouble for Jay or his wife Clancy, and it is a real bonus having someone on hand to advise of the best places to go, when to go, and all the local knowledge info that you cant get from brochures.

If its a relaxing, safe, hassle free holiday you are looking for, then we would have no hesitation in recommending Paul's villa in Alenda. Paul, himself, was always prompt at replying to any email query that we had prior to our arrival at his villa.

Excellent Holiday Villa

Had an excellent holiday at the villa. Spacious and well furnished accomodation provided a great base for relaxation. Surrounded by beautiful mountains on one side and golf course on the other. The local supermarket(about 10 mins walk) was well stocked on essentials and the walk up to it provided ideal exercise in the Spanish sun. The Club House, (near the supermarket) provided alternative to the BBQ's at the villa and the beer was good!! Jay, the property manager, operates an 8 seater taxi service, which we used on several occasions-would recommend this for getting about. Would certainly return again for another break.

We recently stayed at the villa and had an amazing holiday!

The villa was absolutely spotless inside and out, and beautifully decorated. The outside area was perfect for relaxing during the day, and great for bbq's. The enclosed garden area would be brilliant for families with small children.

You can enjoy lovely views of the golf course to the back of the villa and the swimming pool ( very child friendly) to the front. The Club House at the golf course serves excellent food at very reasonable prices and a small supermarkt is just a 5-10 minute walk from the villa.

The owner of the villa was more than helpful and was available to be contacted at all times, as was the property manager. The property manager also runs an excellent 8 seater taxi service, which we used for airport transfers and also to visit most of the major nearby towns.

This is perfect if you want a nice relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting, with the opportunity to visit many interesting towns and resorts nearby.

Fantastic Villa

This villa far exceeded our expections and it was just perfect for a relaxing family holiday. It was gorgeous, clean, very spacious and fully equipped with everything you could need. The enclosed garden area was a huge plus for us. With 3 very small children playing happily in a paddling pool all day we were able to sit back and relax. Although plenty to see and do nearby, we enjoyed spending our days at the villa and would definitely recommend it for families looking for a relaxing break.

I highly recommend this property and sunny Alicante.

The accommodation was very clean and done up to a very high standard. It had everything, including a brand new kitchen, large garden overlooking the golf course, nice big living area with large flat screen TV, 3 bedrooms (mine had en-suite) which easily slept 6 people.

The owners provided a really good service, they were available to be contacted throughout our stay (although we didn't need to) and they ensured we always had an English speaking contact in Spain.

There is a great shared pool area and an excellent supermarket close by (2 mins away).

The Alenda golf course was well maintained and has some excellent holes! The club house is brand new, very modern design and does great tapas style food and very cold beer!

We hired a car wich was great for getting to and from the centre (10 mins away).

By day Alicante centre has many shops and some really execellent places to sit outside by the beach for lunch and enjoy the sun.

At night theres a brand new casino by the beach overlooking the marina and some really excellent bars and restuarants both on the main street and on endless traditional Spanish back streets. At night theres a real buzz about the place and the locals are very friendly and welcoming - we really enjoyed the Cuba bar as the atmosphere is amazing (great mojitos too).

We had a great time and will be back soon. Thanks.
