We stayed here for a week end of september 09. the house is new and everything was ok. the owners are really friendly. from the house its only 15 minutes by car to rabacal if you like some hiking. we cooked everyday, the kitchen is very well equipped and in the big supermarkets in madeira you get everything. in the house is one bedroom with doublebed and one with two singlebeds. another bed is in the livingroom. I think its big enough for a family with 2 kids. we had lots of rain there so its a good idea to bring some games and a musicplayer .

Wir waren zu dritt im Juli 2009 in der sehr schönen, ruhig gelegenen Ferienwohnung. Diese ist neu erbaut und liegt unterhalb des Hauses des Vermieters ca. 400 m hoch üb. dem Meeresspiegel mit traumhaften Blick über das Dorf und das Meer. Die freundl. Vermieter zeigten unmittelbar nach der Ankunft Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, den Sandstrand sowie landestypische Gaststätten. Es empfiehlt sich unbedingt ein Leihwagen und einer unabhänigen Erkundung der Insel steht nichts im Weg. Die Fahrzeit mit dem PKW zum Flughafen beträgt ca. 45 min, nach Funchal ca. 30 min.

tres bonne location,bien situee,avec une vue magnifique ,dans un endroit tres paisible.les proprietaire s sont tres accueillants toujours prets à rendre service .Une voiture et recommandee.

Notre séjour chez josé et paula fut merveilleux, la devanture de l'appartement ne paye pas de mine mais la vue est spectaculaire tres agréable et calme. Ideal pour se faire une petite sieste au soleil ou un bon barbecue!!! voire meme petit dej en plein air.... le rêve!!!
L'interieur est spacieux, 2 chambres raisonnables meublées, cuisine américaine sur grand salon. Suffisant pour 4.
L'accueil de José et Paula est fantastique, des personnes tres sympathiques, gentils et disponible pour tous renseignements sur l'ile.
L'appartement est vraiment bien situé, à 10 min en voiture de la plage de calheta et à 5 min de la voie rapide pour accéder à Funchal, des bus non loin de l'apartement qui vous emnène à Funchal également. Tous cela en étant au calme avec une vue dégagée sur l'océan.
Merci à Paula et José pour ce séjour. A refaire.

Holiday on the Madeira Island

We spent a really nice time in this house. The owners are very friendly a prepared to help you with anything. The view to sea is really beautiful. There is a possibility to eat outsite and enjoy the view. There are three small shops 10 minutes by walk, the bigger one in Calheta opposite the Calheta beach. It´s around 10 minutes by car and you can find there really everything. I think that this house is a good choise for everyone. It is located in the middle of the south coast so it is not so far anywhere so it is good for traveller as we who want to know the island as much as possible. But happy will be there surelly also people who like beach and sun. I also have to say, that the house is much more nicer that it looks on the photos and the kitchen together with the living-room is quite big. Hope that you will also spend such a nice time on Madeira as we did.

Wir können das Appartment mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.Es liegt wunderschön in einem Hang und hat eine atemberaubende Ausicht aufs Meer.Alles ist sehr sauber und komfortabel eingerichtet,es fehlt an nichts.Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit,sie haben uns alles gezeigt(Resturants,Supermarkt,Strand).Das Appartment ist ausserdem ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Touren ins Landesinnere oder auch nach Funchal.Unsere Kinder waren auch sehr begeistert,vor allem wegen der Tiere (Ziegen und Hasen) die im angrenzenden Garten sind aber keinesfalls stören.Wir waren in der Vorwoche in Porto da Cruz ebenfalls in einem Appartment wobei ich sagen muss, das dieses Appartment sehr viel schöner und vor allem fast um die Hälfte günstiger (NOCH)war.Das einzige was noch zu sagen ist,ein Auto ist hier fast unabkömmlich.Wir bedanken uns nochmals bei der Fam.Leitao für den freundlichen Empfang (und die Geschenke) und auch bei Jorge für den netten Kontakt.
