What A Lovely Villa

Hi, We returned from this beautiful villa last week, 15 oct 2009, What a fantastic place to stay, this villa is just about perfect, everything we needed is there, the 4 of us enjoyed ourselves immensely, The villa was very clean and so comfortable, the pool is big enough unless you want to swim lots and the Southern dunes pool is only 5 mins away if you need something bigger,The layout and design of the interior is modern with ALL you could want, I've never had a choice of so many towels ha ha, 2 of us played 5 rounds of golf at southern dunes, very good course, nicely maintained, and quiet enough so you can play at your own pace, Being located on the 27 highway made getting to and from the parks so easy, Mannys is a must, we went there quite a lot, esp before 7 when you get two drinks for the price of one, foods out of this world at great prices, The villa is in a nice quiet area when we were there, the whole southern dunes estate was very clean and tidy, Walmart was handy being at the entrance to southern dunes, so we didn't have to waste time shopping for essentials, lots of choice for takeaways nearby too, I really can't think of anything we didn't like, so go on, treat yourself to this lovely villa, my best memory was sitting by the pool in the evening with a cold coors watching the sun go down beyond lake Joe,

PERFECT HOUSE FOR VACATION

We've just come back from 14 days at the villa and are all very happy with it. The house was spotless, it looked even better than in the pics & everything was immaculate. Very spacious for a family of 5, especially for the kids. The pool was perfect after a long day at the parks. The kitchen was very well equipped - all you could need was there ! The area was also very safe and well mantained. Thanks Andy for the clear directions to the villa and for all the recommended places to visit : St. Pete beach is a must if you like unspoilt places !!!
I'll definetely recommend this villa to anybody visiting Orlando area.

Beautiful view, Updated house, Great Value

This villa is in an excellent quiet location with scenic views and very close to all amenities. There are numerous updates to the villa and it is well-equipped. We enjoyed having an upstairs so that kids and adults could have their own spaces when needed. Also having the key right at the house made starting the vacation smoother and quicker. This was our fourth trip to Florida, and this villa was our favorite by far so we hope to be back!

Home Away From Home....

This villa was the perfect place for our family. It was very spacious yet cozy. Had plenty of room for our children to run around and still have their. own space. The villa has all the ammenities needed, cookware, towels, lots of towels! Kids are already asking when we will be returning!! We loved the pool. It was nice to relax after our long days at the parks. Altho a lil far from the parks then we would like, everything else was within distance, including Walmart, CVS, and all the fast food restaurants!

A Perfect Vacation Venue - stunning location

On our arrival to the spotless, modern and welcoming villa, we were more than delighted with our holiday home. We actually spent far more time at the villa than we would normally do. The view from from the pool certainly enhanced our days in the sun, inclusive of fabulous bird song, but completely private. The amenities at Southern Dunes were also very good. Would I return - a resounding YES . I would recommend this villa (and have) to all my friends. Thanks Andy and Julie for your tips - the restaurants you recommended, especially Mannys, were terrific. Walmart etc were near enough to walk to ( if we had wanted to) Many thanks - we will be back !! Jean and family

we read the last review of jonny b from dorset and we could not agree more with him on his review.just to add we have been coming to southern dunes for 10 years on holidays and found this to be the best villa yet.and hope to re-book again for 2010 we would also like to thank the owners andy&julie for all the information they gave to us. loved mannys the food was awsome

Florida 2009

If you want to be close to Disney (25 minutes by car) but also have the option of sampling other aspects of Central Florida then this is a perfect location to stay with of course a rented car. The Southern Dunes entrance is manned with security guards 24 hours a day which is reassuring. The property was found to be clean and well furnished on arrival. The pool is guarded with a net about 1.5m high which both our three and six year old were unable to open so in our experience this property is suitable for younger children. The pool is a suitable size and there is both a covered recess and space to relax. The front of the property gets the sun first thing however by midday it starts to move round so the pool is bathed in sunshine until sunset (weather permitting!) The rear of the property has beautiful views over Lake Joe. The supermarket and golf course are both within walking distance.
We will be back!
