Great Stay in Bruges

poostick United Kingdom
Review Submitted: December 1, 2009 Date of Stay: November 2009
We had a great stay in the Guild Studio. The owners were extremely helpful and efficient during the booking process. As we were driving we found it very easily and the secure parking was great. The apartment is lovely, very spacious and larger than it looks in some of the photos. It is only a 5-10 min walk to the centre of Bruges - would definately recommend to anyone.

Just back from Bruges

Review Submitted: November 12, 2009 Date of Stay: November 2009
My husband and I spent 3 nights in the Guild Studio last week. The apartment was exactly as described: spacious, modern and clean. The parking spot was quite a nice bonus. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the centre and close to the supermarket and the butcher. We loved the wi-fi provided as it allowed us to keep in touch with family and friends while in Bruges. My only suggestion is to have some sheer curtains at the bedroom windows. Otherwise, everything was just perfect. Definitely going back there! Thanks to the owner.

Luxury five star plus apt in Bruges

Tweedledum Bolton, Lancs, England
Review Submitted: October 15, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
I can't recommend this apartment enough, you will not be disappointed, the photos do not do it justice.Spacious, clean, all the mod cons you could wish for and an enormous bathroom. The secure parking was a bonus. The location of the apartment was perfect. Just a short walk takes you into the beautiful city of Bruges with wonderful architectural buildings, canals and OH those chocolate shops. Will definately use this apartment again,
very soon.

Excellent Apartment - Worth a visit

Paul & Helen Gloucester, UK
Review Submitted: September 8, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We have now stopped 3 times at Guild house and have really enjoyed its comfort and closeness to all the attractions of Bruges. Everything is ground floor, ideal for someone disabled like myself. The apartment is spaceous, clean and comfortable, it has 1 double bed (which is very comfortable) and also a double sofabed, the kitchen has everything you need should you want to cook. You will find a really nice butchers close by and a friendly supermarket selling a good range of everything you need. If you are only stopping in Bruges for a short break or even longer it really is for you and proved to be a true home from home. The owner provides excellent commication through email and any problems sorted out straight away along with all codes required for entry into the property. Although we dont have young children there is a cot and highchair availble in this studio.

Wonderful Studio in Bruges

Staceyspacy Arroyo Grande, CA
Review Submitted: August 4, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
My husband and I visited Bruges and stayed at the studio. It was very quiet, calm and easy to find. It was a very short walk into town and around the corner from a market. Everything was updated and very clean.

As soon as we arrived we had a warm welcome from Michel who was there to greet us. The spacious apartment has been tastefully restored and furnished with a modern bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The secure parking and the central location of the apartment meant we were able to enjoy exploring the beautiful town of Bruges on foot. Thank you for a lovely comfortable stay in the Guild studio and we hope to return very soon.Three nights stay in home from home.

A Beautiful Apartment in Beautiful Bruges

John and Maureen Toronto Canada
Review Submitted: April 15, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
The Guild Studio was even bigger and better than the description given!!!Customer and communication around the booking, and arrangements for key access was efficient and professional.
The apartment itself was spotless, with newly renovated kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. The old charm of the spacious living room with its wood panelling was an added bonus. The decor was beautiful and the beds were especially comfortableand the linens of high quality. The dishwasher and washing machine were welcomed additions.
The local bus delivered us to and from the train station, (also excellent service) when we were exhausted after a day's trek. Bruges is an amazing city with so many sites to explore. Eventhough we only had 6 days at the apartment, we needed more time.
Local butcher shop and grocery store are just around the corner with the most helpful and friendly staff. A day trip from Bruges to Flanders Fields with excellent tour guides was a highlight about WW I. We will definitely recommend this apartment to our travelling friends and hopelfully we will be able to return one day soon. Thank you.

A great place

This is a beautiful ground floor apartment close to city centre. The living area has old wood panelling with stained glass doors & is great to sit in, the rest is ultra modern with everything you could wish for.

Having an off road parking space is a real bonus in a city with so many narrow streets.

We had a great time!

A wonderful property

shan & megs mom Clinton, Massachusetts
Review Submitted: February 9, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
I had the good fortune of staying at this property in early February of 2009. The photos of this property do not do it the proper justice!! Was a fantastic place to stay! Because it was a spacious apartment we felt completely at ease with making ourselves at home! I was amazed at how perfect this place was - truly a gem! It was a short and beautiful walk down the cobblestone streets into the city center of Brugge and warm and welcoming upon our return! The kitchen and facilities were marvelous and I was clearly impressed with the attention to detail with the spacious bathroom and choice of appliances. Too bad that my stay wasn't a bit longer - just 3 nights!
My girlfriend slept in the bedroom and I chose the sleeper sofa so that we could each have a bit of privacy and this was honestly and truly the most comfortable "sofa bed" that I have ever slept on - no horrible bar aching your back!
The living room is a bit hotter than the bedroom so I found myself having to turn down the heat in the middle of the night but other than that was finally able to get a good nights sleep (here in Massachusetts we sleep at night with the temperature really low)
We were lucky enough to arrive a bit earlier and they were friendly and gracious upon our arrival. As a weary traveler it was kind of them and was a great first impression of Belgians!
Bring a small car as the driveway was very narrow but I think that most European cars are a bit smaller than American ones anyway.
There is a lovely view out of the backyard and if you appreciate good architecture and design you will really have a wonderful stay!
Makes me want to return as soon as possible!
