Authentic scenic Tuscan experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Campiglia Maritima. This is a quant authentic Tuscan fortified town. You brush shoulders with friendly locals and experience wonder food and hospitality.
We found the accommodation to be clean and well maintained. It gave us a coastal fresh feel.
The multilingual owners were very friendly and helpful.
If you are looking for a tranquil coastal Tuscan getaway then this is the place for you.
We enjoyed the charm of living in the original stone paved, walking only village (with the exception of the " scooters" of course), with a more modern interior to the apartment.
Outside the local town, the main attractions are the lovely towns and beaches along the Etruscan coast.
We would happily recommend this venue to our friends.

We went to Campiglia in September and were instantly enchanted by the perfect, though admittedly small appartment. The view from the window by the dining table was breathtaking, and an endless source of entertainment for both my wife and I.The area offers lots of different attractions ,ancient etruscan excavations, medieval hill top towns, the wonderful rennaiscence cities, and great beaches.David was very helpfull and his advice is well worth taking,we'll hopefully return soon.

We spent 1 week in that place: Campiglia Marittima is beautiful, and nice to go during the festival (august). The flat is nice and you have an amazing view, and the owners are great: they take time to explain what you can do and visit around. We had a nice week there, so don't hesitate to book there!

We had a wonderful time in the very pretty town of Campiglia Marittima. The nearby beaches are recommended, particularly our favourite at Baratti. The appartment was lovely, clean and tidy and with stunning views. Very good value for money and a friendly welcome on arrival. Enjoy!

In July we spent a week in Tuscany, in this little medieval town. And it was one of the best of our life. Very nice and peaceful place, beautiful beaches in 5-10 minutes by car, interesting villages to visit all around. The apartment was perfect with all the commodities we needed. I can recommend it for everybody. We loved it... And you wil also ; )

Southern Tuscany Delight

Our family has been visiting and holidaying in Italy for over a decade now. Initially, we travelled to Northern Tuscany; subsequently, we visited various destinations from Bolzano, in the North of Italy, to Aquafredda in the South West. We have also spent some time on that fantastic island that is Sicily.
In recent times we have begun revisiting Tuscany, in particular Southern Tuscany. During a brief early-Spring visit a couple of years back, we paid a fleeting visit to the magical hamlet of Campiglia Marittima. That initial brief visit certainly made an impact - best illustrated by our multiple return-trips since. Situated in the hills above the town of Venturina, Campiglia Marittima is within easy reach, 15 to 20 minutes by car, of a number of very beautiful beaches. Our favourite is Torre Mozza, a very child-friendly, Blue-Flag beach. Returning to Campiglia Marittima, and its relatively cool breese, after a day on the beach gives the best of both worlds - a comfortable night's sleep after a day in the sun.
In June of this year, we returned to Campiglia marittima for our annual vacation. Having spent some time searching on the internet for accommodation in the area, we came across the advertisment for the appartment. The photos accompanying the advertisment were very grabbing. The advertised appartment-size and facilities were consistent with our needs - two adults and one six year old child. We arrived after midnight, having driven from Rome, and found toll-free parking close, about 5 minute walk, to the appartment. We were delighted to find that the owner had included a "starter pack of essentials" - including milk, butter, water, tea, coffee, breakfast cereal, a bottle of wine, and some beer. We immediately made a pot of "Barry's Tea" to celebrate our arrival!
The view from the kitchen window, with its uninterrupted view of the land and sea scapes, extends as far as the island of Elba. Fantastic! What a backdrop to eat breakfast/dinner to. We debated that it was the best view from Campiglia; within our little group there was unanimous agreement! .
The appartment was immaculate when we arrived. It was obviously well maintained. The description-details provided on the website accurately reflected the property in terms of location, layout, facilities, proximity to local attractions, etc. We would have no hessitation in recommending this property to family and friends. Finally, the level service provided was very impressive.
