For two couples, now rather older than middle aged when we first visited Capistrano, (at least 8 years ago) this has become an addiction.
The villa lives up to it's description, the peace and quiet, with no traffic on site, is a blessing. The surrounding gardens and pathways are a joy, the flowers, trees and shrubs delight tha eye.
There are many beautiful and varied walks, our first choice is to Maro, a small village where we can enjoy a coffe in the shady square (Plaza de la Iglesia) adjacent to the church, and admire the view. Its another short short walk down to the beach, or more demanding, to the tower (Torre de Maro)
Nerja has resisted the excesses of the high rise buildings and over developement, and the old town is delightful. We love to watch the sun go down from the Balcon de Europa, the views are spectacular
