Very comfortable place to relax !

The best thing about this apartment is , that is really spacious and it is has character of real home.
Just short walk from the beaches , you really do not need a car , all the shops are around .
We were there with one year old child and one 7 year old - and for both our children it was ideal place to be !
Very comfortable and Shanti provides an excellent service - it was big pleasure for us to meet her !!!!!
I would definitely like to come back and can recomend it !

Sea view apt??? Puerto Pollensa

We stayed in this apt for 8 nights in Oct 2009. The apt is up a side street. It is very noisy in mornings as there is a childrens nursery across the street.The sea view is only available from the awkwardly shaped balcony and the sitting room.There is very high buildings which surround the apt and the view is far from good.The interior of the apt is very nice (although we had two cockroaches in the kitchen).There is a roof area which is a drying area- certainly not a terrace.No English speaking TV- all Spanish i think! The photos of apt are decieving- it is not on the sea front.Puerto Pollensa is a lovely place but we wouldn't come back to this apt
Owner's Response: I am very sorry these people were not happy with this apartment, especially as it has been rented out all season and everybody else enjoyed it extremely (all the rest of the reviews can account to that). I suppose they understood it wrong when they rented the apartment, and were thinking that it is sea front, which was the reason for their disappointment. Nowhere in the add is it said that it is a sea front apartment, and moreover, they were told via email that it is on a small street just out of the sea, not that it is sea front. So it's not the pictures that were misleading, but their own misunderstanding. The roof area is indeed the place where the inhabitants of the building put their clothes to dry, no one told them otherwise, nor were they told that they can have use of this roof. The cockroaches came out because they stayed there on the very first week of heavy rains in Puerto Pollensa, and cockroaches do come out some times on the very first rains. This problem has been quickly solved once we were informed about it. Other guests stayed there since, and no one saw any more cockroaches. The "awkwardly shaped balcony" has been the delight of all the other guests who stayed there, as we were constantly told by everybody else...

A wonderful apartment in a fantastic location

A really great spacious apartment with comfortable furnishings and a well equipped kitchen. We were a party of 2 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of room for us all! The addition of a washing machine and dishwasher was a definite bonus as were the fact that spare towels/tea towels etc were provided. The apartment was clean and well maintained as was the rest of the apartment block. The location is very central and although we hired a car it really wasn't necessary. There is plenty to do in Puerto Pollensa itself and a good bus network. The owner is very accomodating and friendly and there were no problems at all during our stay. Would happily return here.

Beatifull and comfortable apartment

Excellent and very kind approch from the owner. The apartment is very close to the beach and the view from the terrce is very nice in every time of the day.The apartment is very well equiped,very clean and pleasent to stay. The location is grate: many shops,restaurants,bars,beaches, but the apartment is very quiet.
We would be very happy to came the next time we remain with the grate taste of welcome.

Lovely spacious well-equipped apartment close to sea in a block inhabited by friendly locals. Excellent service from the owner. We loved eating all our meals on the terrace with its ever-changing sea views. From here we could pop out to shops, a swim in the sea, a walk along the flat promenade, or further up into the hills which in May are flower-rich and teaming with birds. There are hundreds of eateries to choose from, many of which have sea views. Buses are frequent and cheap. The area is very suitable for people with disabilities and the apartment block has a lift. I highly recommend this apartment for a touch of luxury, the view, the cleanliness and variety of opportunities in this area.

We've stayed in this apartment last summer, and had a superb holiday. It is very spacious, homely and comfortable, and has everything we needed for our holiday. And the location is great! All shops, beaches, restaurants and bars are within a very short walking distance. Though in the centre, the apartment is very quiet and private. The views are spectacular and the apartment is very clean. We had hired a car but hardly used it since Puerto Pollensa had all we needed. Car parking was not a problem. The landlord was really helpful. We will certainly come back to this apartment next time we are in Mallorca.
