What shall we say, it was a fantastic place, the barn exceed all expectations, the service was extraordinary good. The barn is highly recommended for a romantic vacation, visiting gardens, see lovely landscape in south of England.

We spent a week at the Barn while our Daughter and family stayed in Twitchers. The grandchildren loved the place even though they are teenagers! It was wonderful waking up to the beauty and tranquility, the wildlife, the chickens and especially the ducklings! We made such good use of the pool, even our elderly relative with mobility restrictions spent many happy hours in it. We would all highly reccommend both properties. Will definately come back when we can. Thank you Pauline and John for very special holiday. Best Regards Veronica and family x

We stayed in the converted barn in June and it was lovely, one of our best holidays ever! The owner Pauline made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed the beautiful views over the field with cows and a couple of beautiful sunsets. And if you look the other way you see the pretty grounds/gardens of the property. Because of our 4 months old baby we were in and around the barn a lot but that was no punishment at all. We did do a couple of small walks in the area, all very pretty and typically English. And we loved the fact that everything we needed was within walking distance from our barn!

We would recommand this beautiful place to everyone!
The barn is very comfortable, clean, cosy and well equipped, the surrounding is absolutely stunning (more impressing than you can see in the pictures). Hollingbourne is a charming pistoresque village where you can make long walks and enjoy nature. We could hardly believe we found this little paradise. There is no noise and you have a lot of privacy. Pauline is very nice, friendly and helpfull, bakes delicious cake and gave us great tips for trips to make (to Rye or Whitstable). We had a perfect and relaxing vacation here. Thank you!

Firstly we would like to thank Pauline&John for making our stay a really pleasurable time. The whole ambience of the barn and gardens gave a warm and peaceful atmosphere.Inside the barn the facilities were first class. The kitchen area offered all the amenities of a modern kitchen and the sitting room area was comfortable and ample. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and the latter contained both shower and bath facilities. The decor gave warmth and finesse. All in all the barn is definitely somewhere to return to with the added attraction of wild life in the garden, and cattle in the adjoining fields, and the sound of the stream in the distance, with the addition of the amazing views across the countryside, there are also plenty of pubs and restaurants in the area as well as the famous Leeds Castle a must to see for any visitor to the area.It also offers the advantage of many different walking routes.
Owner's Response: Thank you Nigel and Maureen for the review. Just a quick update on what has been happening here since you left. The Canada geese and goslings have all gone from the neighbouring field. A recent guest saw a sparrowhawk catch a rabbit and eat it!! Lots of proud mallards with duckings, 10 duckings + Mum came to be fed this morning. The constant sunshine has finally broken, we had some rain today which helps the garden. The level of the ponds went down when it was hot and immediately the Kingfisher and two herons did their rounds. I do hope we will see you back at the Barn quite soon... Best wishes from Pauline
