A memorable holiday

From first contacting Caroline to find out about availability, she was prompt in her response by telephone and email. This immediately gave us confidence we were making the right decision in choosing this fantastic apartment.
Caroline's attention to detail is perfect, with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. On arrival, Caroline greeted and welcomed us to her apartment which is furnished to a very high standard with high quality furnishing and immacuately clean. Caroline gave some first class suggestions of local places of interest and suggestions of where we may like to visit, whilst giving good tips of valuable information.
The only regret we have is not arranging a longer stay - the location is excellent for easy access to Kendal and Lake District.
Myself, husband and two children had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and are looking forward to booking another holiday next week for a longer stay.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.

We had a very warm welcome from Caroline, to a beautiful apartment. It was modern, very comfortable, spotlessly clean, full of everything that you need and more. It is ideally situated and safe, both for walking into town (5 minutes) or ambling along the river and it doesn't take long in the car before you are walking alongside beautiful Lakes. The Railway Station is just 5 minutes walk away.
Caroline went out of her way to do everything just to make our stay enjoyable.

Our impresssions of our stay at the apartment

We spent a very comfortable six nights at this apartment in Kendal. The weather was wet for part of each day we were in the Lake District. However, this did not detract from our holiday and were able to get out and about to explore the lakes and historic buildings. It was great to return to comfortable accomodation of a high standard.
One of the things were really appreciated was the stock of basic household items, such as washing up liquid, and things like salt, pepper, butter etc. The beds were comfortable as were all the furnishings. We felt welcomed by the owner and knew that if there were any problems that we could contact her and she would deal with them.
Kendal is a very interesting town to explore, with an art gallery, a small independednt cinema, theatre and places of historic interest. During the period we were staying they held their 'Minfest' and we watched street theatre and music at The Brewery Arts Centre. We would stay at this property again if we revisited the Lake District.

Caroline Hodgson did us proud.
She was there to meet us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the Kendal town and main amenaties so that we could find our way around and make ourselves at home.
We had a wonderful stay in her tastily furnished, well equipped, immaculately clean, well designed new apartment.
Kendal is such a good place to stay. You have all the advantages of an interesting rural town with all it has to offer what ever the weather. You also have ready access to all the beautiful places that make the Lake District the most attractive place in England to visit. Individuals and local authorities have done a great deal to make it atrractive and convenient for visitors.
My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay.

i spent a lovely time in this pretty apartment with my family. almost everything we need was there.the location was very good,we couldn,t ask for a better one.the owner was very friendly .she helped us alot.thank you very much caroline we will never forget you,and thank you for every thing.we strongly recommend this apartment.

the apartment was beautiful just as described.there was everything we needed and more.caroline made us so welcome.the balcony was lovely for that first cuppa and the last drink!. we found several good take aways andrestuarants nearby.we toured all over cumbria from this base and it was lovely to come home to-so cosy. i wouldrecomend to my friendsand i am coming back for suremy grandaughter would recomend you see the chocalatehouse and the leisure centre. kendels one way system isvery challenging!!

The apartment was very clean, homely and spacious with lots of little extras provided. Caroline's instructions were very useful and helpful, there were plenty of leaflets about attractions and restaurants. Would definitely recommend Keswick, Windemere, Ambleside and Kendal Castle.

This is a brand new apartment. Everything in the apartment is new and of good quality. And it is only five minutes walk to the town center.
Caroline was so considerate and warm. She prepared all we need. Milk, wine, beer, cookie... When she knew my four-months old daughter will travel with us, she even prepare a wipe for us.She also showed us around the town. It helped us so much!
Overall it's a fantastic place to stay. Convient, clean and cozy. Just as home! We will definately recommend it to our friends.

Pleasant, well situated, modern apartment

This is a very well presented, modern apartment, ideally situated in the town of Kendal. It's very close to the railway station, and in walking distance to the town centre and castle.
The hosts were very helpful, and there is lots of information of interesting things to do in and around Kendal.
We would highly recommend staying at the apartment, and hope to return in the future to visit more of this wonderful area.
