Perfect country cottage

Review Submitted: November 12, 2009 Date of Stay: November 2009
We've just returned from a fantastic stay at the cottage at the beginning of Nov. We were 11 girls on a my hen do in Oxford and I had the best time. The cottage is perfectly located for large groups of people coming from all over the pace (although a tad tricky to find in the dark...make sure you have good directions before you set off)

All the rooms are beautifully decorated with great attention to detail and we all fell in love with the showers.

There was plenty of room in both the kitchen and the lounge for us all to eat together and party together

We're all hoping to return soon in the summer so we can take advantage of the beautiful garden and conservatory

Caron is a great host - she made us feel very welcome and was really helpful - we'd recommend this cottage to anyone.

We (11 girls) stayed at this lovely property in August and had a wonderful time. The place is beautiful and in a wonderful location and the owner is more than helpful with advice on local attractions as well as ensuring your stay is very comfortable. Would certainly recommend and consider going again.

Lovely house in a lovely part of the world

Review Submitted: October 5, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
Great accommodation ( very comfortable beds) with plenty of space and a great layout. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked and the garden is beautiful looking over the paddock. The village is quiet with horses being ridden thorough on a weekend and the Ridgeway is only 2 miles away. We walked and the weather was very kind to us. The owner is very friendly and helpful and we wanted for nothing. A vey relaxing and enjoyable time had by all. I'm sure we will be back.

Broadbrook cottage was more than what I expected. The cottage was spacious and comfortable. The cottage facilities are 5 stars and even if you search for a negative point you will find nothing. The owner is friendly and helpful. The cottage is in a quiet location, yet the market town of Wantage is a short drive and has all the required shops.
This was my family first visit to the UK and the accommodation was on their list “best of UK”. I decently recommend this cottage especially for large families, and would be glad to come here again.

Ideal getaway with friends

Review Submitted: August 3, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
me and 6 other friends from London drove up for a weekend break here, and had a wonderful weekend!
Cottage has been beautifully refurbished and is very comfortable in rain (we had a small thunder storm and played board games) and in shine (a lovely BBQ in the garden).
there are a range of walks (short ones to the pub and longer ones to Uffington White Horse) which don't require a car and this made a big difference to us as we only had one driver in the group.
I'd definitely go back again!

Fantastic

With me rowing crew i was looking for a nice place to stay during Henley royal regatta. At first we thought it was a long drive to henley but when we arrived i was very glad to have chosen this cottage.
Everything was very clean and proper. There were fresh towels and the kitchen was well supplied. The owner takes good care of you and when you miss something, just ask and she delivers.
Very nice surrounding and if you want to go for a walk, there are plenty of nice footpaths nearby. The pub around the corner is a bit sad, but if you drive to wantage there are plenty of bars and pubs. Also a couple of great supermarkets.
We will be back next year and i can recommend it to everyone if you're looking for a nice quiet place to stay.

Broadbrook Cottage

curlew Conwy North Wales
Review Submitted: May 7, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
On arrival at Broadbank cottage we found to our delight the cottage itself was spacious and the layout perfect for us, we were two generations, my inlaws were very comfortable in the ground floor ensuite accommodation, as my father-inlaw has difficulty with stairs. The cottage facillities were excellent, spotless and beutifully presented,I must mention the beds so unbelievably comfortable. My children loved watching the horses, and the hamlet of Sparsholt is so quiet and peaceful, and yet within 5mins drive of the market town of Wantage, which has all the required shops. All in all we had a very good time, and will have no hesitation in recommending Broadbrook cottage to our friends and family. We will most certainly be returning. Many thanks to Mrs Williams for your friendly hospitality.
