Quaint Wimbledon Studio Apartment

My family (2 adults/2 kids) fully enjoyed staying at this quaint studio apartment in Wimbledon. It's location is just minutes from the tube/bus stations, grocery stores, restaurants--anything you could need is within walking distance. The kitchen is very well equipped--complete with a welcome basket of starter foods (eggs, butter, bread, jam, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, sugar, seasonings, etc.) Oyster cards (London's cheapest transport option), a courtesy, rechargeable cell phone, and power converters were provided. Tons of maps, tourist pamphlets, books, etc. Travel sized toiletries were provided in bathroom area. The outside area was lovely with a BBQ area, table/chair sitting area, and even a fruit bearing apple tree--my husband made an apple pie! There were 5 bikes with security locks to be used for local area riding and a private, secure parking area for a car. Owner met us at the apartment the first morning of our stay--very friendly and helpful; answered all questions/concerns. Finally, after a long day of sight seeing...my kids (and husband) loved relaxing by playing with the Wii! Would absolutely stay there again!

Delightful Flat

My mother, who is 83, and I had no idea what to expect before we arrived at the flat. To our delight, the place was exactly as described. It has a fantastic kitchen, a small but nicely done bathroom, a comfortable bed and pull out futon couch. Charlotte is easy to work with and followed-through on everything in a timely fashion. She also provided a welcome basket that was truly welcome since we arrived late in the evening...all the necessary staples were provided to tide over weary travelers for the first day. The flat is small but easily accommodated two adults.

We also enjoyed Wimbledon village. The studio is just a few blocks from the heart of the business district and train station. Very convenient to shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Trains to and from central London are frequent and easy to navigate.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay immensely and I would gladly recommend this flat to other travelers.

Just wanted to comment that although the apartment is small (it is a studio) it has been designed to accomodate 4 people and many of our guests have been parties of 4. Wimbledon does not have a business district as such. The apartment is in the centre of Wimbledon just one minute's walk to a range of restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and all facilities. L’appartamento è bello, pulito e molto confortevole, non manca nulla! La posizione tranquilla ottimamente servita e nelle vicinanze si trova tutto quello che serve. Molto attenti i proprietari e scrupolosi.
Per la nostra famiglia (2 adulti e 2 bambini di 4 e 3 anni) davvero l’ideale!

Charlotte made this incredibly easy. Everything that you could think of, she provided before we arrived. A mobile phone to use, Oyster cards, basic food for the flat, a power adapter for the UK; if you could think about it, it was there.

Aside from that, the studio was comfortable, and fit two nicely. The backyard was lovely, and one morning I saw a rabbit wandering through it, which was quite nice. Well situated, and close to the Underground. Thoroughly a good experience.

Accurate description, very clean, cosy and conveniently placed apartment. It has everything we needed and was only a two-minute walk to the Tube. Next to shops and dining places. Room enough for a couple with two children. We had a wonderful stay.

Charlotte & Harry thought of everythings for our comfort in this very pleasant flat.close to the metro .Wimbledon is a full of life station;We enjoyed to walk trought the village and the park, and rest in a nice garden.We really had a very good stay in London.

Description of the apartment was absolutely accurate.
Quiet and peaceful place, but everything was near (shops, underground,restaurants,etc)
Wery clean place and well equipped.
Was suitable for us (2adults+2children)
Good communication with friendly owner.
Place for the car
Can recommendate for everybody.
