A nice addition to L'Escala accommodation

These new apartments are well located for visitors to L'Escala who don't necessarily want to be on the Riells side of town. As you should expect from a brand new complex, it's been very well finished, and the interior design touches mean that it feels like you're in quite an upmarket space. It's also good that all the accessories are new, although it's odd that some "obvious" items aren't included - you'd have a thought a kettle might have been a good idea?!
It's ideal for a family of two adults and two children, and practical too, with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. Like a lot of two bedroom places, though, it has pretentions to cater for six, with the lounge sofa bed etc. I think that could be stretching it though, as there's only one bathroom/WC - it could be a bit cramped. The development is fine (although the glass surrounds on the balcony are compromised by a large "For Rent" plastic sign); the pool's a tad small, so it gets pretty busy pretty quickly. It's also quite a step into town - maybe 20 mins stroll? - around the headland, but at least you can console yourself that you're earning your tea. All in all, a pretty good place to stay; easy for the supermarket (especially if you like the bargains on offer across the road at the new Lidl), and it's easy for Empuries and the nearby beach. These apartments are worth a whirl as long as you remember your trainers.
