Great Apartment

This is apartment is perfect. It far exceeded our expectations. It is ideally located on the Promenade des Anglais next to the Negresco hotel. There is easy access to Nice's excellent public transportation system. The apartment is luxurious and well-kept, with all of the amenities for a carefree vacation. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Agree with the other reviews, beautiful apartment and very spacious, ideal for 2 couples. Both bedrooms overlooked the rear garden and were very quiet. Position is perfect as the Med is just across the road, supermarket and bakeries 3 minutes away, restaurants also nearby although we walked to the old town on several evenings
We took the bus from the airport and got off across the road from the apartment block (the stop is Gambetti I think, fare 4 euros each) - lots of places to visit by bus, each journey just 1 euro. Excellent tourist information in the apartment.
The very BEST thing was the large balcony overlooking the Promenade des Anglais - the view was unbeatable, watching the sea and sky change colour early morning and then as evening approached - wonderful. We had our breakfast here, there are even blinds to lower if the sun gets too hot

This perfectly located flat can wholeheartedly be recommended. My wife, our two daughters and myself had a fantastic week exploring Nice and the rest of the Cote d'Azur while enjoying the spacious flat located directly on the Promenade des Anglais. The terrace facing the sea was a favourite and the practical lay-out of the flat as well as all the amenities helped convince us that we had picked a winner - we shall definitely be back in 2010!

The apartment was very nice indeed and there is no way it could be described as a "Holiday Apartment" although the kitchen and bathroom fixtures were dated they were of excellent quality, infact I would think the cooker had never been used till we arrived, you could sense that this had once been a much loved ladies apartment: silks on the wall in the master bedroom, lovely big mirrored walk in wardrobes with beautiful soft pink mirrors which were so kind to the skin, the floors were fabulous and all of good quality, even the skirting boards were made of marble. It was very good, if I have to criticise it would be that the palm outside the aptmt is very large and cuts off the view of the sea but overall a wonderful experience and I felt that for a short time I lived like a french lady in Nice.
