Verano Casero

Over the years we have frequently rented high end self catering accomodation abroad but none has quite matched up to Verano Casero in terms of quality.
When we crossed the threshold of Verano Casero, the 'wow' factor hit us immediately. The accommodation is extremely spacious, well equipped, effortlessly stylish and spotlessly clean.
The two bedrooms/2 bathrooms and generous living accommodation make it a perfect retreat for 2 or 4 people. The additional sunroom provides further living/dining space and faces the extensive private pool and barbeque area giving the villa an added dimension whilst retaining a boutique feel.
The owners have put a huge amount of thought into every aspect of Verano Casero and this makes it an extremely special place - the sort of place you could quite easily spend a week in without going out of it's boundary, so nice and private is the space, both inside and out.
There is also support on hand from the villa managers who live a couple of doors down and nothing is too much trouble for them.
The villa is about a 15 minute walk from the beach but it's a nice walk and nice that the villa is away from the hubbub of the town. That said, Playa Blanca is a quiet family-orientated resort with something for everyone. The restaurants, particularly in the Marina area, are of a high quality.
Sightseeing on the island is great with the volcanic area and Manrique's house museum being of particular interest.
In summary, we thought Verano Casero was fantastic ( a real find) and would have no hesitation in returning/recommending it to others.
