FANTASTIC HOME NEAR DISNEY

We've just returned from this gorgeous, well maintained home. I just can't say enough about the home - the pictures shown in the ad were accurate, but nothing prepared me for the absolute beauty of the outside and inside of the home. The owners were fabulous to deal with - I asked ALOT of questions regarding the home and they were very patient with me and gave me excellent information and customer service. The villa is on a cul de sac that allows for a great deal of privacy - the area is just great. We were close enough to all the Disney parks and area restaurants. I have told ALL my friends that when they plan their Orlando area vacations - this is the house for them! Thanks Tim and Sarah for the terrific vacation home!

Beautiful family home

My friend's family and our family stayed in this vacation home for a week. House was clean, well- maintained, comfortable and spacies. Owners are so friendly and they provided very good customer service. Kids liked the game room and enjoyed the pool.

Brilliant place to call home whilst in Orlando

Villa is all as promised on the web site – you won’t be disappointed. It is, as stated, 15 minutes to Disney. You're also within 1&1/2 hours driving distance of some of the natural Florida – we found the springs and state parks well worth a visit.
For eating, there’s lots of restaurants within easy reach. Then, when you’re “themed parked out” and want a quiet evening, you’ll find the supermarket 5 minutes away for your supplies and the kitchen very well equipped for that homemade meal or BBQ.
If you have a laptop, the wireless internet works well and is useful for opening times and directions.
The estate is quiet and residential with the public areas well tended. If you’ve the energy, there’s tennis and basketball courts and a large pool if you want a serious swim.
At the end of the day when you’re tired you won’t have any trouble sleeping – the beds are ever so-comfy.

Yes the beds are comfy, good matresses but we've added memory foam toppers to the master bedroom and the other double room to make them even more comfortable!

Golf break in February

We were 2 couples staying first half of Feb to play golf in the sun. The house is convenient for a great variety of courses, shops and the theme parks. It has plenty of space and is well kitted out.
Importantly the swimming pool area faces the sun unlike some in the area.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay again one day.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the comments. We should make more of the fact the pool faces the sun, yet the large covered lanai allows you some shade as well.
Excellent for families with children

We went there in July 2008. We were 2 families traveling together. There were lots of space and all needed equipments. Incl. towells for daily- and pool use. The house is clean and the beds were really good. The children simply just loved the pool and the enjoyed the gameroom. The villa is placed in a nice area and there were no noise. You can buy everything you need in the big supermarkets. After a long day in the park we just went to nearest gasstation where you can buy footlong for 5 dollars in the take away. You will need a car there. Don't forget to go Bush Gardens in Tampa, we loved it so much and we will recommend you to spend 2 days there. Have a nice holiday, it's a wonderfull house to spend your holiday.

Perfect Orlando house

We are very pleased with our stay. Four bedroms were perfekt for two families. The house is in a nice and quiet, not to fancy neigbourhood. In the house we found even more equipment than discribed, such as stroller, carseat for kids and games.
It is easy to go to the parks (Disney, Sea World, Universal Studios) by car from the house, and it is only 20 minutes away.
We would love to rent this house again, and of course will we recommend it to our friends.

You are right we do have more equipment than is described - we should update our description if only to let people know they don't have to bring certain things with them. Maybe you didn't find the back way to Animal Kingdom, because we're only about 10 minutes away from Disney Property in the Animal Kindom area. It is always a delight to hear from people who enjoy their stays - it makes all the time, effort and money we put into the house worth it.

We stayed in this superb villa during April 2008. It is very well located and appointed, with a good balance between modern luxury and homliness, it is also extremely spacious. The nearby supermarkets (3 mins to either Walmart or Publix) were very convenient and offered everything we could want. Disney really is only about 15 minutes drive away and within 5 minutes along Highway 192 is every possible dining option.
Without doubt the best feature for our two sons (11 & 7)was the villa swimming pool and also the community tennis and basketball courts. My wife and I really valued the peaceful location whilst still being right near to all the action.
Although I didn't have time to use the Golf course it looked to be in well maintained and established.
Overall we would heartily recommend Mary Jo Lane as a perfect family location and we ourselves intend to return there in a couple of years.
