Hi all, I stayed at malaga lodge for 7 weeks during june / july of this year while on a course in the city. I can definately recommend it to others.The location is very central with plenty of restaurants and bars in walking distance and a bus stop just outside the door. It was exceptionally clean with very good cooking facilities and everyone has their own press and fridge space. There's internet access available downstairs and also a connection in your room. Malaga lodge also offers a free laundry service once a week which is so handy. All in all i felt i mad a great choice and at a great price. I look forward to returning sometime soon.

I would have no hesitation in recommending your apartments to anyone wanting a nice private and inexpensive place to stay in Malaga. Malaga Lodge is
very central and well served by public transport, it has also got a lot of good restaurants, bars and shops within
10 minutes walking distance. The apts. are adequate with a bathroom and separate toilet across the hall for every 3 rooms. There is a drying room with ironing facilities and also a free dry cleaning service once a week. The kitchen is very good with separate storage for each apt., good cooking facilities and complimentary cereals for breakfast.

I highly recommend Malaga Lodge. I stayed there while on a language course to learn Spanish and it was the prefect base to do this and to explore Malaga in the process.
It is tucked away in a beautiful old part of the city, only a short walk to everything I needed - nice bars, cosy cafes, local supermarkets, bookstores, as well as bus stops and train stations for trips further afield.
As a woman travelling on my own, safety was a priority for me and Malaga Lodge felt very safe and secure, an oasis from the noise and bustle of the newer commercial centre. I felt confident coming and going to the cinema, meeting friends in the evenings, etc.
The Lodge itself is spotless, and very efficiently run. Included extras like laundry, free wifi, even breakfast cereal, all helped me feel very much at home. There was a really interesting mix of friendly guests while I was there too - if only all overseas accommodation experiences went this smoothly.
This place is a real gem, and after an almost 3 week stay, I was sorry to leave. I'll definitely be back.

I had a double room for 7 weeks whilst on a training course at Malaga Airport. Situated very close to bus stops with services around Malaga and a supermarket just around the corner it was very convenient. Prices were extremely reasonable for such a comfortable house, and the owners were always on the end of the phone if needed. The common areas were cleaned very regularly. Malaga Lodge is ideally situated in a quiet part of the city. It is a perfect base for exploring the historical city and for shopping in the city centre. The lodge itself is extremely clean, well equipped and safe. I would definitely return.

This property was very well located in a quiet area. The rooms were maintained very well and the staff and owners were very plesant and helpful. I would most certainly stay there again.

My stay in Malaga lodge was great - it's tucked just behind the victoria church, so is easy to find and has all amenities close by (cafe's/bars/supermarket, etc). The kitchen area was very good, with separate fridge shelves/etc for all guests. The whole place is kept very clean by cleaner who comes in daily. The only negative is no air conditioning, which makes the room pretty hot in peak season. Granada street is only about 10/15 mins walk away and it takes about 25 min walk to get to beach. Highly recommended and at a great price. Thanks to Mayte for a great stay!

Isabel und Klaus Rieder aus Augsburg: Wir kamen uns vor wie in einem Dorf mitten in der Stadt: Vogelgezwitscher und Kirchturmglocken, kein Autolärm, keine Großstadthektik. Trotzdem sofort mitten im Geschehen. Internetcafé entfiel auch: mit unserem laptop konnten wir sofort ins Netz. Ein echter Geheimtipp in Malaga!
