A wonderful holiday!

We had a wonderful time away at this villa at the end of May. We We were two families sharing this beautiful spacious accomodation. We had to force the children to go on day-trips as they had great fun playing in the pool, games room and grounds. They loved picking oranges from the villa's grove and eating them round by the pool. In the evenings we had wonderful meals on the terrace that overlooked the pool. We will always remember the amazing paella cooked by the neighbour and served to us on the terrace.
We would wholeheartedly recommend this villa to anyone who wants a relaxing break as we have never before stayed in a property in such beautiful restful surroundings.

Owner's Response: We hope you will return many times to enjoy paradise.
It is a good idea to come when north Europe is cold and
wet from October to May.
The pomegranates and figs are ready from September.
The 60 orange tree are in fruit from November to May.
All fruit is free for your use.
There are only 3 promegranite trees , so please leave some
for new arrivals.
We still have not made use of the olives.
See you soon

A little peace of Spain

We have just had a lovely family holiday at Casa de Paz. We were slightly worried that the weather might be too hot, it being the end of July, but with the Air Con units in every room and the obligatory afternoon siesta when the sun was at its heighest - everything was perfect. Casa de Paz is great for children to play and to learn to swim in the well looked after pool. Lots of games and toys for all the ages. The facilities catered for all our needs. It is also a good base for exploring. Beaches at La Marina are recommended. Must importantly Casa de Paz is as it name suggests, a very peaceful place to relax and recuperate. We shall be back soon!

Owner's Response: We are always very pleased when guests have a very enjoyable time and want to return for another holiday .
To make the sandpit enjoyable for children we recommend
interested clients to have a little dig and some raking.
The rain seems to harden the sand.
The weather is not too hot or cold from October to May.
The pool is about 16-18c from December to April - just
useable thanks to the SOLAR COVER .We also have some wet suits so you can use the pool even in the winter. The best time to do some sun bathing is in the
winter months.The sun is not too intense.Only 26c from 12pm to 3pm.
The beaches of St Juan and Guadmar are also very nice.
We look forward to your return visit soon to explore the wonders of the surrounding area.El Fondo is a WORLD BIRD LIFE PARK -PARC NATURAL.

Relaxing Family Holiday

Review Submitted: July 9, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
The villa was highly recommended to me and did not dissapoint. 6 Adults, 3 Children.
Villa & grounds are very well maintained.
The facilities are fantastic,as well as the pool and games room the practical features such as air conditioning in every room means that we were all able to sleep comfortably at night and relax in the kitchen & living areas. The washing machine & dishwasher made the chores that much easier.
Plenty of space and nice to return to after a day out.
Elche was worth a visit but the beach at La Marina was a favourite for all of us,used mainly by the Spanish and no embarressing Brits.
Would use again if going on holiday with family members or friends and needing a large villa.

Enjoyable family holiday at Casa De Paz.

We enjoyed our 2 week stay at the Villa it was very relaxing, The pool was kept in first class condition by Juan the pool and maintenance man.
The Games room was very usefull.
It was a good base for a Spanish holiday with good road links to Elche', Santa Pola, Alicante, Benidorm and Altea the Villa was clean and comfortable. The caretaker was very helpfull, the Paella cooked by one of the neighbours was exellent. I did find use of a car was necessary because of the location.
I think we will definetly be going there again.

An excellent property - we've been twice!

We've stayed here twice now with different sets of friends - and will definitely be back. The villa is beautifully presented and has something for everyone; swimming pool, table tennis, table football, BBQ, a kitchen equipped with EVERYTHING you need....
We visted nearby Elche which is interesting and also ventured into Benidorm to the waterpark whcih the kids loved. The restaurants nearby are great value and very tasty. We also had some good days out at the beach. But really the best thing about both holidays was spending the day at the villa with friends and family.
