Our 15th stay in Les Contamines in 7 years tells you something about how you never forget this little corner of the Alps. Absolute bliss, beautiful scenery and walks. Genuine French mountain village atmosphere with all the attractions of Chamonix just 20 mins away. The chalet, handbuilt by Bruno Mollard is a gem and very comfortable and Sarah & Bruno's hospitality as always really makes the experience. Les Contamines feels like our second home and I hope Les Contamines will be our first home very soon, cant recommend enough for all seasons!

We loved our week long stay in our chalet. You could tell the chalet was built with love with all the beautiful hand woodworking throughout. Sarah and Bruno were welcoming and helpful in planning our daily hikes. The kitchen was so well stocked that we cooked all our meals instead of having to go out late in the evening for dinner. The chalet felt very private and quiet, had nice views out our window, and a nice front deck to sit back and relax. We, also, enjoyed watching the provided videos in the evening. Thanks for a great visit, we just wish we lived closer so we could return more often.

We had a lovely week at Remise a la Megane. The property is cute, romantic and very well equipped throughout and the owners friendly and helpful. We visited two of the recommended restaurants (L'Air du Temps and O a la Bouche) in the nearby village and thoroughly enjoyed both of these very different experiences! Bruno talked us through the walking map and highlighted some spectacular ones - all with a chalet restaurant en route. My only negative would be the proximity of the main road into Les Contamines and the resulting traffic noise. We had been expecting a more peaceful location.

Arrived in the late evening and received a lovely welcome. Sarah and Bruno offered all the help we would have wished. Le Bothy was beautifully clean and really well equipped. Eating all our meals outside was a pleasure and the children had the run of a large and well maintained garden. The kitchen and bathroom, really important for us and three daughters, worked really well.
Getting out to use the ski-lifts for walking, market day in Les Contamines and a host of activities in the park at the top of the valley gave us more than enough to do.
The hosts were great and there is to my mind no doubt that another's experience would be as good as ours.

Ce chalet est vraiment très charmant à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Un WC à l'étage pour la nuit serait apprécié mais c'est bien la seule petite chose que nous avons trouvé à noter durant toute la semaine qui restera un excellent souvenir. Nous aurons plaisir à revenir dans ce chalet.

We discovered this little gem in 2007 and have now been back 3 times. The chalet is clean, comfortable and warm, perfect for returning to after a hard day on the slopes. The village is within walking distance and the restaurants are varied with menus reasonably priced. Sarah and Bruno provide an excellent service, giving advice on absolutely everything from grocery shopping to ski lessons. The village has all you need and the local atmostphere is friendly. The ski area is well looked after and not too busy making it a perfect place for young families to learn to ski and board or just relaxing without the hustle and bustle of the larger ski resorts. We would recommend this chalet without hesitation.

We had a lovely time in Le Bothy. The chalet is gorgeously crafted and had everything we needed (including plenty of toys and videos for the tots) and both Bruno and Sarah were very helpful in making our stay an enjoyable one. Les Contamines was practically shut down for the time we were there (end of May) which was probably down to the fact it was between Winter and Summer seasons. However having the car meant we could pop over to the beautiful town of Chamonix for visits and nearby Saint Gervais also offered plenty of eating spots.

The chalets are lovely and the service from Sarah and Bruno excellent. Les Contamines is fabulous in the ski season and in the summer. The chalets are very well designed and arrangedand are clean and light and airy. The chalets have everything you need for a self catering holiday but if you want to go into the village it is very near by and there is a good selection of restuarants. Would recommend these apartments happily to friends and family.
