Reviews of Property: Secluded cottage with private pool & tranquil gardens

I really enjoyed staying here it is perfect for total relaxation.
The cottage was lovely and clean and John & Yvette have thought of everything you may need for your stay.
The pool and grounds are exactly what we wanted.
The local restaurants are only a ten minute walk and there is a good variety to choose from at very reasonable prices too.
John & Yvette are fantastic hosts and I would definately return.

The cottage, gardens and wonderful pool area were exactly as described in the information, John and Yvette were so kind and helpful to us throughout our stay, the cottage was spotlessly clean and the pool was absolutely fantastic - we enjoyed our stroll through the beautiful gardens to arrive at our little piece of 'away from it all' heaven. We walked ten minutes into the town every evening to eat at one of the several restaurants available - they were all extremely good value. We would recommend the cottage to anyone wanting a restful holiday yet within easy travelling distance to explore the Algarve by car.

My Girlfriend and I were looking for a perfect getaway and boy did we find it! Beautiful cottage with stunning gardens and a private pool! What more could you ask for?

The town of Sao Bras is a few minutes walk and has everything you could possibly need. Including the now world famous Chicken Luis! An absolute must!

We instantly fell in love with it and with our hosts too. Yvette and John made our holiday even better that we hoped it would be. We cannot recommend it enough and could not have asked for more welcoming or selfless hosts or a more beautiful place to stay.

We cannot wait to come back. Thank you both again. x

The title said it all. This is the 3rd time we have stayed in John & Yvettes cottage so that should say it all. The setting is perfect, the property is excellent and with its extensive gardens and fantastic pool you really could not stay anywhere better. John & Yvette could not make it anymore comfortable, they really have thought of everything to make your stay as peaceful and relaxing as possible. The walk to the local shops and restaurants is 10 minutes (and I am a slow walker). The swimming pool and gardens are fantastic which is why we keep going back. Thank you John & Yvette for creating this peice of heaven. xx

We stayed in Casa Vida Nova Cottage in July 2007 and had the best ever holiday. The Cottage was beautiful, well equiped and secluded. The owners Yvette & John were there if you needed anything but also left you in peace leaving us to enjoy the lovely swimming pool in private.
Everywhere was clean and well kept the gardens were well looked after and there was lots of quiet places to sit if you wanted to be alone! It was lovely and hot while we were there but the lovely clean pool cooled us down and there was plenty of shade. We shall return to this little piece of paradise very soon and look forward to seeing Yvette& John and not forgetting the lovely Carlos (the lovliest dog ever)

My husband & I booked a 2 week stay at Casa Vida Nova Cottage in July last year, the cottage was typical Portugese, set in the owners grounds, the cottage was well equiped, and had everything we needed, the town was within walking distance with a wide variety of restuarants (Chicken Luis is a must!) and coffee type bars, which retained the portuguese culture,with the shops closing for siesta.
The pool was glorious and reached by a meander through the well maintained gardens, the owners John & Yvette were available if you needed any information from what the weather forecast would be, where was a good place to eat,or where there was a local market.There are many places to visit as Sao Bras is central & only a 20 minute drive from Faro airport
This holiday can be as quiet or as lively as you want and we will definately be returning. A jewel of a find!

An idyllic cottage with a private,well maintained pool set in a ' Garden of Eden'. We had a thorouhly enjoyable stay in the cottage which was spotlessly clean and well equipt - there wasn't anything the owners hadn't thought of!

Stayed last September 2007. It is very difficult to get a villa for only 2 people and this one was the exception to the rule. Amazing gardens with a lovely pool which was completely private. The biggest barbeque we have ever had. We were treated like family all through our stay and the villa was immaculate and John & Yvette had thought of everything. They even sent Carlos their dog to check everything was safe and sound every evening!! We love the area and have been many times but John & Yvette were at hand with helpful suggestions.
You can book this villa with confidence which we will certainly do next time we visit the area.
