Reviews of Property: Beautiful large villa with fabulous sea views and large private pool

My friends and I (all in our 20s) stayed at Casa Cristdell in May for 3 nights. It was the most amazing trip. The photo's on the internet do not do this house justice! The house is absolutely huge, all the bedrooms are so comfortable and the living area is spacious and kitted out with everything you could possibly imagine!

The entertainment area is awesome! We spent most of our time lying on the deckchairs next to the pool. The pool is also heated so you can swim all year round. There is a very nice BBQ area and we ate nearly every meal around the table at the pool.

The owner of the villa is the most wonderful person. She is so accommodating. There is not anything that she has not thought of from directions to every last detail about the area and what it has to offer. The villa is in a quiet area that is not commercial at all. It is very close to all the great beaches and to the surrounding towns. We hired cars and drove to a different beach every day which I definitely suggest as they are all so different.

We also took a drive into Lagos and went to the fish market there. All the seafood is freshly caught and is so cheap. There is also a big supermarket as you drive into Lagos on the right hand side which has a bigger variety than the shops in Luz. It's worth going there to do a big shop for the duration of your stay.

If you are looking for a nice vibe at night we caught a cab into Lagos (takes about 5-10mins and cost us about 13 euros) and took a walk from the square. There are so many restaurants, bars and clubs along these roads and it is so festive!

My friends and I will be back in the near future as it is one of the best trips we have been on!

Ten of us in the three generations of our family had a wonderful time. The villa fully lived up to its description and it was great that all bedrooms opened directly onto the garden or pool area. Views from the villa towards the sea were impressive. The villa is so spacious that all of us felt we had ample room to enjoy ourselves.We liked the facility of the cosy log fire on some cool April evenings The pool so warm that we could all stay in it for as long as we wished and the pool area is spaccious and well positioned for the sun all day. The covered eating and barbecue area is a great asset and is even equipped with its own fridge! The property was immaculatley clean and Filomena, the maid, worked hard, three times a week. to keep it so, Information and service from the owners in England and the agents in Portugal were given in a very friendly and efficient manner.
It was good to be able to walk to a choice of restaurants for evening meals, further out alonmg the main road and in Luz. Access to the main N125 road, to explore the surrounding area, is quick and easy and simplifies shoppibng at Intermarche on the road to Lagos.
We recommend the property withourt reservation.

This property is outstanding in every way. For a family / group holiday I can't imagine you would find anywhere better. The layout of the villa and large room sizes ensure privacy and luxury for everyone - no one had to put up with 'the small room' , there isn't one.
The outside spaces are stunning - bbq area, higher terrace with dining area, amazing pool area and lawn all contained within the outer wall offer privacy and safety along with great views and plenty of shady areas for the grandparents!
The town was smaller and quieter than I expected but catered for all needs, such friendly people and fabulous bars and restaurants. The short walk down and back up from the supermarket worked up an appetite - have a glass of sangria at the bar above the beach and a meal at the restaurant on the beach.
To sum up; A fab location, fab villa and fab holiday. The company wasn't bad either!!!!!

This Villa is AMAZING, it has everything you could ever need, outdoor BBQ and eating areas a gorgeous swimming pool, beautiful sea views, massive clean bedrooms. The pictures in the website really do not do the villa justice. A bargain!! Also the owner and villa managment company are extremely helpful and are always only a telephone or email away either before your trip or while staying in the villa. I would recommend this villa to anyone it is truely amazing and my nine friends and I loved every minute of our time spent there! THANK YOU!

Great for 2/3 families and especially those with children this is a luxury holiday in a beautiful setting. BBQ every night by pool on patio - external bar area makes this easy. Small garden area for children. Lots of wardrobe space and good beds. short ( 5min) walk into town. Highly recommended.

Having never visited the Algarve before, we were unsure what to expect. The villa and local area surpassed our expectations. All rooms were immaculate and the bathrooms were great too. Our children thought the pool was fantastic and it was difficult to entice them away.
We will definitely recommend to friends and will return!

Casa Crisdell has everything that is necessary and more for a luxury and comfortable stay in Portugal. Excellent facilities both inside and outside of the villa with superior furnishings and decor throughot.

The pool area is so very sociable with a very large BBQ area and enough space for everyone to be seated or horizontal around the pool itself.

The villa is an easy 15 minute walk from the beach front, so the purchase of last minute provisions or a stroll for an icecream or sangria isn't too far to manage.

The location of the villa means it is very quiet with no road noise and views to the sea.

Lagos is well worth a visit, pretty town and a vibrant nightlife if that is what you are looking for.

Description was very accurate and the property was clean, well maintained and had lots of space.

Would highly recommend!
