Berlin in the Summer

Photos do not accurately show how much space there is, this was a great place for 4 adults...try finding this kinda square footage in Paris ;)
Pros:
-Owners are nearby, friendly, super accommodating, and readily available for whatever assistance they are able to give.
-Centrally located to banks, restaurants, grocery stores, bars, U-Bahn.
-Wifi included
-Full kitchen with espresso machine made breakfast really nice.
-Surprisingly private, noise was not a problem.
Cons: (these are completely relative base on your expectations)
-No Air conditioning
-Three Flights of Stairs (but who goes to Europe to avoid stairs)

The apartment is very nice and nearby a metro stop. The pictures the owners put up are entirely accurate. The location was great for getting around, getting groceries, etc. The apartment was clean and supplied with towels, shampoos, coffee, and other sundries. The beds were soft and the whole place was comfortable and well-put together. We greatly enjoyed the apartment. Only issue we had was with a spotty internet connection, but the owner fixed that immediately. He and his wife are great. If we stay in West Berlin again, definitely would come back!

Das war die richtige Wahl. Die Wohnung war genau wie auf den Fotos zu erkennen: hell, freundlich,großzügig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Lage ist für Berlintouristen optimal, d.h. ruhig gelegen und sehr zentral. Die Vermieter sind sehr nette und unkomplizierte Leute. Sie sind sehr bemüht, ihren Gästen einen schönen Aufenthalt zu bereiten.

A beautiful appartement, a pleasant place, near to metro and bus station. We liked it a lot! Staying the night at a place of which you can feel secure and having the idea of being in the real life of a Berlin atmosphere.

Die Wohnung ist super schön, sehr hell und sehr gut eingerichtet. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und die Lage ist optimal - 5 Min. von KaDeWe und U-Bahn. Die Vermieter sind super nette Leute und sind sehr bemüht, den Gästen die Aufenthalt in Berlin angenehm zu machen (eine tolle Empfehlung war ein Italiener um die Ecke!). Die Wohnung empfehlen wir auf jeden Fall. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

sehr schöne große wohnung , helle und saubere räume.

schöne Wohnung in Toplage

Wir, 2 Erw. und 2 jugendliche Kinder, haben das Pfingstwochenende in Berlin verbracht und uns nach Pokalendspiel, sightseeing und shoppen in dieser grossen, ruhigen und sauberen Wohnung ausgeruht, gut erholt und sehr wohl gefuehlt. Sie entsprach allen genannten Kriterien und ist durch ihre schoene, zentrale Lage ideal zum shoppen (u.a. KaDeWe), zum Essen gehen oder auch als Ausgangspunkt fuer Berlinerkundungen super geeignet. Durch den grossen, langen Flur, den getrennten, geraeumigen Schlafzimmern hatten alle ihren Freiraum, sodass auch unsere Kinder sich sehr wohl fuehlten. Wir sind bequem mit dem Auto angereist, dass sicher in einer Garage stand und wir uns daher ueber dessen Sicherheit und Parkplatzprobleme keine Gedanken machen mussten und demzufolge auch Ausfluege in die Umgebung von Berlin unproblematisch sein duerften. Die Vermieter haben uns sehr nett empfangen und auch wieder verabschiedet, sodass wir beim naechsten Berlinbesuch sicher wieder anklopfen werden.
