Living in Cordoba I was familiar with the area. Looking online with my sister and her family we found Casa Pino Solo and my sister thought it would be the best place for their family as her sons would be able to enjoy the pool, billiards, table tennis and darts.
From the start Lisa and Nigel were very helpful with making my life easy to make the payment through my Spanish bank. They were hospitable and helpful, keeping the location tidy and clean along with great recommendations for things to do in the area.
Its close to some wonderful places and remote enough to have you feel like its a real break.
I look forward to seeing Lisa and Nigel in Cordoba and grabbing a cold beer with them.

My Wife and I have just returned from Spain.We stayed at Casa Pina Solo where we had a blessing of our wedding rings ceremony,as we had just got married in England in August. Lisa and Nigel arranged everything for us,fron the catering to a photographer,they even arranged for a Padre to travel up from Malaga to perform the ceremony. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they certainly "go the extra mile". Later in the evening, after a few drinks,Nigel even taught us and our guests to Salsa.It is a day we will never forget. Casa Pina Solo is the perfect place to stay,it is spotlessly clean and everything that anyone could want is provided. We shall return.

had a great week with nigel and lisa...the apt was spotless and the pool was the cleanest we have ever been in. A great base for travelling to granada/ronda...good food and drink at nearby bars/restaurants..

superb villa and location. Excellent facilities clean and well maintained, owners very friendly and helpfull. Would highly recommend this property, stunning views very peaceful and a place to chill out. Local restaurants with very good menus. Plenty to see and do if you want.

My wife and I have just returned from a lovely week at Casa Pino Solo. Part of me thinks I shoudn't tell anyone about this haven in the Andalusian Hills, and just keep it secret. It's absolutely delightful and Nigel and Lisa are there to assist without being intrusive. The description is accurate and the attention to detail is paramount, it is beautifully clean and peaceful. You need a car, and the roads in September are very quiet. The pool was warm, jacuzzi hot and plenty strong hot water for the shower. I can't fault it, I'm only sorry I have told you!

We stayed for 2 weeks at Casa Pino Solo in August with all of my family. There was 14 of us altogether and we rented out all of the villa, which was fab. The villa was immaculately clean,very stylish and comfortable. Set in the mountains, the views were superb from all around and very peaceful. There were 7 adults, 4 teenagers and 3 children. I must say that there was plenty of variety for all of us at the villa. With the swimming pool, table tennis, pool table and even the PS2 to play with, we were all catered for in or out of the sun. The weather was very hot, so we were in and out of the swimming pool most of the time. We ventured out to a couple of restuarants and supermarkets and the spanish people are very polite and easy to get on with. Lisa and Nigel the hosts are the most helpful people ive come across, they put themselves out to no end to keep us all happy and gave us advice whenever needed. We stayed here last year for only 1 week but this time 2 weeks and its was even better. Thankyou so much Lisa and Nigel for a wonderful holiday and hopefully we will all be back again soon.

...this was a great detour for us. We decided to break our usual holiday pattern and stay with Lisa & Nigel, mostly on the back of the overwhelmingly positive reviews here. We weren't disappointed. Brilliant place, brilliant hosts, fantastic communications all the way from tentative enquiry through to the end.

We travelled as a group of two families, both with small children. Our plan was to take in various cities in Andalucia, with the idea of choosing someplace small and comfortable at the end of the holiday to enjoy a couple of days relaxation. Casa Pino Solo was the perfect choice!

The villa, divided up into a number of comfortable appartments had all the facilities you'd look for - swimming pool, games area, jacuzzi, barbecue, satellite tv, cooking facilities. This alone probably makes it worth taking a detour off the steady worn Granada - Seville - Cordoba route.

Three other things though made it stand out for us.
The first was its beautiful location. It's set in sloping hills surrounded by kilometres of olive groves - beautiful.
The second was the value for money. This was the cheapest and best accomodation we had on the whole holiday.
Finally, the way that Nigel and Lisa run their business immediately encouraged us. Booking was simple, and when we arrived they were brilliant (without being invasive). Every day they were available to give tips on where to go / what to do - and at the same time they had prepared an amazing welcome kit. The amount of work they've put in to making Casa Pino Solo an ideal holiday spot is obvious.
