Modern, spacious apartment with excellent amenities that made it easy to self cater. Great outlook over the lagoon - pleasant dining out on the balcony with the water lapping below and great views. Able to enjoy Venice at the end of a busy sightseeing day but escape the throng of fellow tourists. Readily accessible to other Venetian islands with frequent water transport available. Great supermarket 3 minutes away. Our host was very helpful - meeting us at the Vaporetto Stop was much appreciated and prevented us from getting lost (yet again) in Venice. His advise for a typical restaurant meant we had fabulous food when we dined out. Would not hesitate to stay here again if we are lucky enough to be back in Venice and would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

We spent a delightful week staying in this apartment on Guidecca.
As arranged we were met at Palanca and walked to our new home past the supermarket and local shops. We were successful in understanding most of what was explained to us regarding operating instuctions etc.(We have very limited Italian and Signore has limited English). Finding the 'Instructions for Use brochures' for all appliances in the drawer and documents folder helped in making the stove and washing machine work. ( We had been at sea for 3 weeks and were keen to have some home cooking and had loads of washing to do)
There was plenty of storage space, and all appliances were in good working order ( even if the baking dish did not fit in the oven there were other baking dishes which allowed for cooking a roast chicken)
The photos are a true reflection of the apartment and all its features.In fact the views from the balcony and bedrooms are better than in the photos.
It was so pleasing to come home to a hot spa bath after a long day of walking on cobblestones and then sit out on the balcony and enjoy the view over the southern lagoon.
After sunset it was very quiet allowing for us to get a lovely nights sleep (in a comfortable bed) recharge the batteries and hit the cobblestones the next morning.
Overall it was a magical time as only Venice can deliver.

I have stayed twice in this well-equipped and furnished apartment. It provided a good base within easy reach of the main tourist sites but away from all the hustle and bustle. The view of the lagoon was impressive.

The apartment was perfect - very comfortable, clean and very well equipped. The well-stocked local supermarket is nearby, as is the water-bus stop. And the journey across to the heart of Venice takes only 5 minutes.

Very nice appartment with a beautiful view. Everything was o.K.
