Best Holiday Ever!

ALEF Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Review Submitted: August 22, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We have just got back from an amazing 2 week stay in Casa Elena and I would definitely recommend it! We have stayed in various villas over the years and can honestly say that this is the only one we would go back to. The location is great, equidistant to the dunes and the town, the villa has everything you need and the pool is huge! The children (ages 9 and 8) spent most of their time in the pool and having the slide was a massive hit! Frank was extremely thorough with the information and details we needed and the whole process was professional and stress free. All in all, a fantastic holiday which we didn't want to end!

Easter 2009

We all had a fantastic holiday in Casa Elena at Easter time
The villa was great, very spacious with everything we needed for our holiday. The kitchen is well equipped and we ate meals at the villa and out in Corralejo. There is a huge choice of eating establishments in Corralejo and we especially liked the volcanic rock restaurant, well worth a visit. The setting of the villa on a quiet road just off the beach was brilliant and we walked into Corralejo daily along the beach path.
The pool at the villa kept the children very happy and with it being heated they were able to stay and play in it for hours!
We visited the beach at the dunes a couple of times which we loved, the only problem was due to the winds the children could not go in the sea and we visted the waterpark. We found the waterpark quite expensive to get into, but as there were very few people there (early in the season) we could get on to any ride without any queing.
The children really enjoyed the ecomuseo la alcogida(which is near Tefia and you need a car to get there) which is number of traditional houses where you can see rural life and crafts. Cheap entry and a change something a bit different.
All in all a fantastic holiday, everything was perfect and we would recommend Casa Elena to all. Frank was extremely helpful from the moment we made the first enquiry and right through the holiday. We would love to return again very soon.

October Sunshine

Very comfortable villa in a peaceful location. Clean and well maintained. We all enjoyed having our own pool and the roof terrace is a great place to enjoy the view with a cold beer. 20 minute walk to the centre of town is pleasant enough - there are plenty of taxis but we never bothered. Lots of good restaurants to choose from around the harbour. Nearby beaches are excellent and water park is great for the kids. We had a great time and would recommend Casa Elena to others.

Relaxing Family Holiday

We had a wonderful time at Casa Elena. Very peaceful location in a cul-de-sac in a residential area.
Great facilities at the villa. Supermarket around 5 mins walk away.
What a treat to have a private heated pool which we all used everyday. Our 8 month old loved it!!!
The main area for bars/restaurants was a good 20 mins walk either across the beach or on the main road. A taxi back to the villa on a night cost 3 euros.
The beach directly over the road isn't sandy but 2 mins either way brings you do a lovely sandy area, although acess into the sea is a little tricky.
Overall highly recommended.

Brilliant Holiday!

We stayed at Case Elena in July 08 and had a lovely time. The villa was lovely, very clean & spacious, and the owner and maintenance staff could not have been more helpful. The villa location is quiet, but near enough to the beach and nightlife so a car is not needed. We will definately be returning - thanks Frank for a lovely holiday at your villa.

Casa Elena

Review Submitted: September 23, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
Pam, Jim & Michelle and Steve, Theresa & Abigail all stayed at Casa Elena for 10 nights in September 2008. We found the villa and surroundings wonderfully private, clean, spacious and well stocked with everything we needed. Having a heated, private pool was fabulous and was enjoyed by all ~ particularly by 30 month old Abigail!!! There were fans in all three bedrooms but felt that the villa could benefit from air conditioning.

Although the beach (as described) is only 25m away from the villa, it is a rocky/stony beach and not one we would consider suitable for sunbathing or for children to play on. There is however a small piece of sandy beach further along towards the harbour within easy walking distance of Casa Elena

The resort centre of Corralejo is a good 20 minutes walk, 30 minutes to the harbour (no hills so an easy stroll) or you could get a Taxi at a very reasonable price. The town centre had many shops, bars and restaurants catering for all tastes. The harbour is more relaxed and laid back with a more ‘traditional’ feel ~ well worth the extra 10 minutes walk!!!

Frank was extremely accommodating and helpful with our individual requirements when booking and we found the whole booking process was quick and easy.

All in all we had a wonderful break in this ‘home from home’ villa and would recommend it as a great place to stay.

Wish we were still there :O(

Wonderful Villa

This is a stunning villa which is tremendous value for money when compared to other properties in Corralejo. Our friends paid the same price as we did and had a small semi villa with a tiny pool. The villa is close to the town and you can walk there via the beach which is just over the road.

We had a fabulous time and have recommended it to our friends. Great communication from the owner who really seems to want you to have a good time.

Stu & Rhona April 2008

Stu & I spent a week at Casa Elena, we just got back on Wednesday night…wish we hadn’t!! Absolutely fantastic spacious Villa with great uninterrupted views over Los Lobos from the roof terrace, Great pool (which we spent much time in!) As with the rest of the reviews…fantastic well equipped villa, pool, located just 20 - 25 minutes out of town (great walk along beach with fab views) There is a local supermarket within easy walking distance from the villa. The Villa is situated in a quiet road, opposite the beach and it is an Ideal place to get away from it all...! We will hopefully be back!

Excellent accommodation

Paul, Lynn and family, West Yorkshire.
We stayed in this villa for 2 weeks in July 2007 and had a wonderful relaxing holiday. Very quiet location just across the road from the beach with fantastic views from the rooftop terrace and a 15 to 20 minute walk into Corralejo. Good size pool cleaned regularly and enough sunbeds to go round! The villa has everything you need as the description and good supermarket within walking distance. The four musketeers do good food to take away if you don't want to cook, just around the corner. Plenty of watersports available. Would recommend this villa and hope to return sometime.
