Welcome to heaven!!..............

This villa is simply the most fantastic jewel in the Mijas pueblo's Crown.. it is an oasis of tranquility and beauty; you enter the property directly from the beautiful white streets of the beautiful mountain village of Mijas, you park your car in the covered garage .. and your breath is taken away by the vista of greenery and the magnificent unique swimming pool which is shaped as the rock beneath it ... the picture on this web site hardly does it justice - it is enchanting.... if you then walk to the enournmous main terrace, the views of the Mijas Costa, from the mountain ranges, over the golf courses and the twinkling lights of Fungie, & all the way to the shimmering sea - it will absolutely stay in your mind for ever forever!
We have visited this property every year for 10 years now - trust me, it is heaven.
The pictures show the villa very well - the property is a combination of original traditional features combined with fantasticly concieved additions - the glass roof over a bed and in the ensuite provide a simply beautify view of the mature and private grounds and the amazing night sky - it is magical. I laughed to myself when a previous review complained of no curtains - why would any one ever want to close out such a view?... by the way - the curtains were all there last week .. we use them only when we are outside - to maintain the lovely natural cool that the wonderful breezes provide, keeping them drawn during the day, with the patio doors open helps maintain a pleasant temperature for evenings!
The equipment in the house was fully functional - and very well used during our stay - from the BBQ to the Microwave or Expresso machine - to washing machine and dishwasher!
Each bedroom has it's ownbeautiful terrace - & a few extra ones situated in all aspects - shaded by fruiting grape vines, and sweet smelling flowers .... you can take your pick of lounging on the day bed in full sunlight, or at night under the stars - or snoozing on the shaded day bed on one of the lower terraces for a traditional afternoon siesta!
The Owners live next door, but with their own private entrance, and terraces, our privacy was complete - however - we did spring a leak and within a few hours the problem was taken care of - and the leak had stopped... the benifit of having an owner so handy to assist.
Only a few mins walk into the lovely village - with every ammenity!

Just to thank this magnificent house for the harmony and the peace sensation who accompanied me during two weeks… nothing false or fake nothing too much, only truth … Lots of secrets at every level ,terraces adapted to every hour of day or night to live with the house ….magnificent souvenir.
I wish you to discover it, for all the lovers of authenticity and charms.
The place also is magic : at the end of the village but close to the center, a place protect by massive doors who hide it from eyes as a tresor. And for me it is one !
Services more than correct,no charges supplement, all include with my use (!!) everything worked no disappointment except to have to leave...

Great little corner

I rented this house with my two children (12-14) from 3rd of July to the 18th and I must say it was absolutely fantastic. First the entry gives to the pool which is really charming because of its particular shape drilled in the natural rock. On the terrasse next to the pool you have a bed which you can use to sleep outside during the hot Andalucia's night. But on top of this you overhang all Mijas Costa's bay with an incredible view. Especially at night in the dark. The house is nice and rooms are all equiped with air conditioned. Due to the particular building on 3 different level where the kitchen is the central point every one has the chance to benefit of his privacy especially the main room which is downstair with his own terrasse and private garden.
5 min walk to the center of the village you will find a market with everything you need. Also the owner lives next door and is really helpful.
I would definitely take the chance to book for another time at the same place because we felt like in heaven.

We enjoy our stay in this villa. The house, the garden and the swimming pool are extraordinary!! Everything is clean, easy to use and everything works. The swimming pool is a pure miracle and its shape is unique, we had never seen so beautiful swimming pool before and in a environment so charming. Furthermore, the house is situated a the end of a village thus we took advantage of the silence and the nature as in campaign but we also had access on foot to all the conveniences of the village.
I am in no way d agreement with the comment of front even if it is true that the owner is spot, we never see him except when we want to ask for information to him.
I deeply recommend this villa at evrybody who want to spend magnificent holidays.

First impression of the villa was WOW. Great holiday, great location, pool area was terrific and gardens were immaculate. However feel the listing was not accurate. Slept 6 with the option of a single sofa bed in what was described as a dressing room but was a effectively a corridor with no curtains at the windows. One of the other bedrooms had a glass extension to fit the bed in but again no curtains and a tarpaulin over the glass roof. Two cooking rings not working on the cooker and the oven not fully functional. Biggest let down being told on the last day of holiday that there would be a charge for using the outside lights, air conditioning, dishwasher and washing machine. This information not on the web site. The owner lives in annex next to the villa so not as private as implied.
Owner's Response: The mentioned “corridor” is in fact a 25 m2 dessing room annex to the master bed-room, with curtains and a double sofa-bed 140 x 190 cm. (see photos)
The very romantic bedroom (with curtains on both sides) with the glass extention under the palmtree (photo) must be appreciated by natural or artistic minded persons. This peacefull home is offering relax, much space, there is NO noice at all, no nabers, only birds, beautiful gardens, views, sunrises...it permits to live totally free, all doors and windows open, (mosquiteros) totally save.
The 4 cooking rings, the grill and both ovens are fully functionnal, controlled every saterday. For any problem, the owner repars and replace at once.
Electricity and water is included for a normal, REASONNABLE and respectfull use:
(included for 2 weeks July : 800 to 1000 kw )
Extra charged has been in this case, the correct difference of the real use of electricity :
2800 kw counter !!!!!!!! and the BOOKED cleaner.
It would be much nicer, to respect the signed contract paying this charges.....in state of writing a negatif and wrong review...

In October we spent with our 14-year-old children ten wonderful days in this fantastic house. I really can say that it was the best holiday accommodation we ever had. The house is located at the end of the village Mijas, five minutes walking distance to the centre, where you can spend hours going through the small tourist shops or having lunch or dinner in the restaurants.
The house is built over three levels having in the second level the kitchen as a meeting point. Seeing the equipment of the kitchen, you realize that no holiday accommodation was planned here, but a house for living. All desires of a family are met.
A big cooker in the middle of the kitchen and many working spaces make cooking a pleasure. Even a storage room and a separate laundry room are available.
On the first level each child had a large bedroom with a private terrace and direct access to the beautiful pool. And, very important for our children, the internet connection was working properly.
On the third level there is a huge bedroom with a beautiful terrace, a big dressing area and a big bathroom. From each room you have access to the garden.
The garden with its grapes, figs, pomegranates, khakis and fresh lettuce is an invitation to eat fruit and vegetable.
The view is fantastic from every level and makes you curious about the beautiful surroundings.
To cut a long story short: This house can be fully recommended. Nothing is missing. Most importantly, though, is that the landlady is very friendly and helpful. Thank you for these beautiful days.

If you're searching for something like paradise - just book this villa!
I still can't say what we liked most!
The pool- and gardenarea with this gordeous views ore this wonderful house with all the terraces and nice corners?......or for example: sitting on the terrace of the living-room makes you feel sitting in an treehouse! ... or smell the flowers all over the place! ... take a sunbath on the terrace, watch the sky an have the feeling, beeing alone in this area!........enjoy the sound of the birds and sometimes of the dunkey's .... and so much more beautiful impressions!
We will sure come back!
