Holiday Perfection !

We have just returned from a fantastic week at Casa Feliz with our sons aged 12 and 14. Like other reviewers we were unsure whether the website description would be accurate but, have no doubts - this house and location deliver everything promised and more ! It is difficult in photos to show all the views and beauty of the surrounding countryside but every balcony/terrace shows you something new. It is all so peaceful and relaxing. Although we did travel to Alhambra in Granada and Cordoba (easy journeys on motorways) with hot sunny weather all week,we were very happy to stay by the pool. We normally eat out in the evening on holiday, but with a very good supermarket in Rute (15 mins drive) and great gas BBQ we stayed put all week ! The house is spotlessly clean and has been decorated to a high standard. A lot of thought has gone into providing everything you need for a holiday home. Sheila and Michael are so friendly and could not have been more welcoming and really wanted to make our week as easy and enjoyable as possible. We all agreed, that this was the most chilled and perfect family holiday we have had for some time and we will certainly be back !

Our family (2 adults, 2 children aged 11 and 8) had a wonderful holiday at Casa Feliz. The pool was lovely. The views were fantastic. The terraces were shaded by olive trees and were perfect for relaxing on with comfortable loungers. The house was just as described on the web-site; it is very well equipped. Towels were provided for the pool and for indoor use and were changed mid-week. The welcome basket of food and wine was a treat.
The owners, Sheila and Michael, are thoughtful and helpful. Michael is an artist. Our children had a very enjoyable lesson in watercolours with him. He is an excellent teacher.
A car is required for shopping. The house is well-placed to visit Granada and Cordoba.

We had a great holiday with our 2 children; 14 and 11 at Casa Feliz.
Having spent a hectic few days in Cordoba we drove south full of expectation, having used the website before, we were sure we would be in for a treat with Casa Feliz. When we arrived it exceeded all our expectations, great well equiped holiday let, fantastic views, a warm welcome from the owners. Idylic.
The house is very well equiped, clean and stylish, but Casa Feliz comes into it's own outside, a good pool, 4 separate patios all well equiped with chairs and loungers, BBQ and views.
All of this within a short driving distance of bars, restaurants, horse riding and shops. Part of Casa Feliz's quiet charm means you do need a car to venture out.
Every Town in this area seems to have it's own castle, roman and moor history going back 2000 years.
Casa Feliz is a great location for a relaxing hoiday or a base for the history of Cordoba, Granada and Ronda.
We will recommend it to our freinds, but maybe we'll just keep this gem to ourselves!

We spent a wonderful week at Casa Feliz in August with our 2 children aged 7 and 10 yrs.
The house was beautiful;it was well maintained and equipped to a very high standard with almost everything you would need for a week away. The owners live in the adjacent property. They were perfect hosts; always available if needed but not intrusive at all. They made Feliz really feel like our home.
We spent a day exploring and visited Ronda which has a dramatic gorge and also some wonderful caves nearby which were very atmospheric as you explore by Davey lamp!
The rest of the time we chose to spend at Feliz,with its stunning views and totally relaxing atmoshere.

We have just returned from our third stay at Sheila and Michael's villa.
We are aged 60 and 57, and I would describe us as fussy and needing our creature comforts on holiday!
In every way this villa satisfies, from the warm welcome on arrival, the welcome pack with eggs, cheese, bread, milk, wine and scrummy biscuits: the beds are very comfortable, the linen and towels of excellent quality (towels changed mid-week), a well-equipped kitchen. There are 3 terraces from which to enjoy the amazing views: there isn't a sound apart from the birds, which give the villa such a peaceful atmosphere, and make it so relaxing.
Sheila and Michael are next door to help, but are never intrusive.
Do go - you will be charmed by this property.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Casa Feliz. If anything, the photos on the website do not do justice to the fantastic views of the surrounding scenery. Although they're in the middle of a long drought, and the lake is rather reduced, it's still a very big lake and every twist and turn of the road seems to provide another lovely view. You definitely need a car as there is nowhere to buy / eat in walking distance. At this time of year, there were lots of garden and wild flowers in full bloom and the whole place was at its prettiest. Michael and Sheila were great and the villa is very well equipped and comfortable.
I'd love to go back again some day.

Michale & Sheila are very nice couple. The villa is well equipped for cooking for my family. We had our own privacy eventhough they lived just next door. We had pleasant stay in the villa. Easy to travel to & fro other places Cordoba, AlHambra & Sierra Nevada. Wish we could come again next time.
