Amazing holiday in Hisaronu

Rach & Mark Norwich
Review Submitted: August 22, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
What an amazing apartment in a beautiful location. We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely be returning as soon as we can.
The apartment was exactly as described, but even better than expected. Really spacious, everything we needed on hand and amazing views from both balconies.
We had some lovely meals in Hisaronu where the people were all so friendly - would also recommend a trip to the fish market in Fethiye where you can buy great fish/seafood and either have it cooked to eat in reastaurants that surround the market (for the equivalent of just over £2) or have it packed in ice to take home.
Regular transport gets you to the beach in no time at all - beautiful scenery and long stretches of sandy beach.
Spent some lovely days at the pool, which we had to ourselves in a number of days.
Would totally recommend this apartment.

we had a fantastic time in hisaronu the weather was hot and the scenery beautiful. we would definately recomend this apartment, we arrived early morning and were so happy that a welcome pack was there for us,as this was very much needed and appreciated. the property was very clean and bright.really nice deco and very spacious for a family holiday.the location was great 5 mins walk from the centre, i would comment though, people not good on there legs would maybe struggle a bit with the steps leading up to the apartment, we found it good excercise and was running up by the end of our holiday..our activities included horse ridin, this was so much fun,we had a turkish bath which is a must on your first day, absolutly fantastic,we also went on jeep safari and a boat trip to dalyan, all recommonded.our favourite restaurant would have to be the suntrap,we had many a drunken night there and so much fun, very friendly people. we have had great customer care from neil, which we very much appreciate and would definately stay here again, hopefully nxt year....enjoy your holiday as much as we did....

Autumn Break

Happy Walker Norwich
Review Submitted: June 16, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2008
The apartment is on the top floor and is in a rear block which means guests enjoy extensive views from the balconies over the valley to the mountains on the opposite site. The climb to the apartment would not be suitabile for people with mobility problems or any elderly person with a heart problem. Behind the apartment is a forest within which there are a number of short and easy walks. The apartment is well designed, is spacious and very well equiped. At the time of our visit quality and standards were excellent. Because of its position in our opinion it is not necessary to hire a car. The Centre is close, frequent 'bus services operate to Fethiye and Oludeniz as well as some more infrequent services to more remote destinations. Try the stunning and hair raising ride along the coastal route to Kabak. There are plenty of tours on offer. There are a variety of companies offering adventurous activities, sailing and sightseeing tours. Information on walking however is hard to find. I have however discovered some real gems of walks which could be classified as moderate to challenging. I hope to provide Neil with details of these walks for 2010 season so that other walkers may discover the real delights of this area. Stout boots, walking stick and water are a must. For those who do not already know, Hisaronu is the start of the Lycian Way which was Turkey's first long distance path.

There is no lack of drinking and eating establishment many with entertainment or large TV screens for sport and the Centre can be lively at night. There is plenty of choice to suite all tastes.

We have enjoyed 2 holidays using Louise and Neil's apartment and are planninga a 3rd for 2010.

VERY SPACIOUS WITH GREAT VIEWS

Middas Newcastle Upon Tyne
Review Submitted: August 29, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
The apartment certainly met our expectations. It was very light and spacious and had great views from the balconies at the front. The position was also excellent, in close proximity to all the bars and restaurants but in a quiet spot further up the hill which meant that we were not affected with noise from the main strip which could be quite lively/busy on an evening.
The pool area was also large and well kept and was never crowded. It also had great views across the town and surrounding mountains.
We used SEASIDE TOURS for three trips and found them to be very friendly and great value.1)JEEP SAFARI -This is a must but don't forget your water pistols. £40 for 2 adults and one child. 2)OLU DENIZ BOAT TRIP- Nice day out with lunch provided. £15 for 2 adults and one child. 3)QUAD SAFARI- Good way to spend 3 hours but a bit more pricey at £35 for one adult and one child(sharing quad).
We ate out every night and didn't have a bad meal.We found CASTELLO'S to be excellent value with a wide variety of choice from Italian,Mexican, Steaks and Fish dishes to name but a few.

All in all it was a great week in a great apartment although we did find Hisaronu to be a little bit more commercialised than we are used to but that is a personal thing and it was nowhere near as busy as Faliraki /Aya Napa etc.

Superb in every way

My wife and I took our teenage son and his friend on our first ever trip to Turkey in July. We wanted to stay somewhere central but with a bit of privacy. We could not have made a better choice than this resort or this apartment.
The locals are incredibly friendly, warm people and very genuine. The prices to eat and drink out are very reasonable and the choice of restaurants is staggering. Every meal we had was of very high quality and reasonably priced. We cannot recommend a favourite restaurant because quite frankly they were all excellent. There was so much for the boys to do that we hardly saw them yet the resort had a great balance of lively bars and a nice safe family feel. A resort to suit all tastes!
There is no real need to hire a car as the bus service is very reliable and cheap. We enjoyed some great day trips (quad biking, jeep safari, boat trip from Fethiye, and several trips to the excellent Joseph Beach at Olu Denize - all highly recommended),
Neil and Lou's apartment itself is superbly located and equipped with excellent views. It has the benefit of being centrally located, just a two minute stroll to the main centre, yet it enjoys a peaceful and quiet location so you are not kept awake all night by the Clubs. The facilities the apartment offers are perfect and the swimming pool is large, clean and very inviting. The whole complex is clean, tidy, quiet and friendly. A great place for couples or families of all ages. Really cannot praise it enough, a fantastic choice for a well balanced holiday which offers everything - can't wait to go back next year!

We had a great holiday, Neil arranged everything for us, he sent us information location maps and accommodation details weeks before our departure. Our taxi was waiting for us at the airport (even though we had been delayed over 3 hours) the apartment was lovely everything we expected and the views are fantastic it was cleaned to a very high standard, the mid fortnight clean was also excellent. We had the pool to ourselves for about 1 week and even when it got a bit busier there was still plenty of room for everyone. The walk down to the shops/restaurants etc. is only a few minutes which was great. We found the restaurants great value we would get a full English breakfast with a drink for around 7 Lira (around £2.80) and a large beer for 3 Lira (£1.20). We ate out every night our favourite restaurants where Tango and the Lemon Tree, excellent food at both and no hassle. We went to Fethiye several times and saw the turtles in the port which was a once in a lifetime experience. We also visited Olu Deniz several times during the daytime and at night, we ate at an excellent restaurant called Bella Guesto I has the best pasta dish here that I have ever tasted in my life! We hired peddle-ows here which was fun. We also went on the island boat trip from Olu Deniz, we had a great time, excellent value around 5 Lira (£2) for the day – lunch included you then get a tab for any other drinks or snacks you want for the rest of the day and prices where reasonable. Excellent holiday would definitely go back.

SUPERB APARTMENT IN HISORONU

Super Para Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Review Submitted: July 4, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
Having been to the resort 6 times prior and always in a Hotel we began to want more space, we were sick of getting hassle about not being able to take drinks or snacks in unless bought within the Hotel complex (expensive), so decided to try apartments. Our whole experience has been brilliant from making contact with the owner right through to transport back to the Airport.
The apartment is exactly what it says extremely spacious, clean, well furnished and with the most spectacular views all, in all we were in heaven. I have no reservations in recommending this property to anyone considering renting.

Great apartment and location

Older travellers Norwich, Norfolk
Review Submitted: June 20, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2007
We found the apartment to be extremely spacious and clean in an brilliant location. It was only a short walk to the main street where all the bars, shops and restaurants are located.

The pool is a nice size with plenty of space for sunbeds and when we were there we had the pool to ourselves!

Before we went the owner provided us with lots of information regarding the apartment, location etc and answered any questions we had.

Best places to eat were El Ninos, Suntrap and Butterfly. We had a great day out on a boat trip from Olu Deniz and enjoyed quad biking in Kaya Koya (although there are loads more things to do!).

All in all we had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend this apartment, in fact we have booked again for September 2008!

We stayed in the appartment for 2 weeks in May. We were extremely impressed by the overall cleanliness and the property was clearly well maintained. The main street was literally a stones throw away yet far enough away to be unaffected by any late night/early morning noise! The view from the balcony is fantastic (I seemed to spend many a night staring at the mountains!). Nearby we found El Ninos to be one of our favourite restaurants but there are so many to choose from. Overall we could not speak highly enough of our stay.
