We had a lovely time and apart from Friday (which was overcast) the weather was amazing. We thought the Villa was beautiful, garden ideal and the location perfect’ - Jenny Hamilton

we had a fantastic holiday thank you. Your house is truly lovely and we had a great time. The only comment I would make is that your description on the Owners Direct website does not do the property justice as we all commented on how it was much better than what we were expecting.

I’m not sure where to start - the villa was absolutely wonderful (or perfect) take your pick. I would just echo one of the other reviews by saying the pictures don’t do it justice.
We arrived late in the evening having being delayed at the airport and the arrangement for the keys (they were available from a secure location) made this much less stressful than worrying about someone having to wait around for us. Davina who takes care of the villa (and she obviously does this so well) came to check that we’d settled in and that everything was OK the next day and this was also a nice touch.
My nephews went into the villa first and their comments sum up the holiday/villa “It’s like somewhere you’d live if you were famous” and that was before they found the nearby tennis courts which they could use.
The villa itself was absolutely immaculate, spotlessly clean, well decorated and obviously well cared for. It was also extremely well equipped and we had everything we needed.
The balcony in the picture was perfectly placed for keeping an eye on the kids whilst they were in the pool - which was almost every morning. But probably best of all (for me at least) was that it was perfectly positioned for capturing the early morning sun – an ideal place for me to enjoy a nice quiet breakfast/coffee.
The pool itself was one of the best maintained/cleanest we’ve ever come across and was checked and cleaned regularly in the 10 days we were there. The gardens were also well kept and big and flat enough for the kids to be able to play ball games.
The weather on the first day was torrential thunderstorms (it was luckily glorious the rest of the time) so I can also say that the centrally heating was powerful enough to keep the villa really cosy. The heating is unlike most villas in the area “proper” radiators like home and it was easy to adjust so would be well suited to a “winter” holiday.
The location of the villa was ideal – secluded but close enough to beaches/resorts so that we could spend the morning in the pool and then explore in the afternoon/evenings. The supermarkets were also close enough and convenient so getting to them wasn’t a major job (handy when the ice cream ran out!!).
Would I recommend the villa – absolutely and without hesitation – I just hope that when we next want to book it someone else hasn’t read the review and got there before us. Because finding somewhere else that lives up to this villa will be no easy task!!!

Beautiful Villa; exceptionally well appointed. Peaceful, quiet location. Great heated swimming pool. Large grassy area for children. Lots of sun or shade. Variety of beaches and excellent walks nearby. Good choice of restaurants in surrounding area.Barcelona and Girona easily accessible by car /public transport.Good tennis courts close by.

Went October 1/2 term again, great to get late summer sun and enjoy a heated pool, kids were in the pool first thing in the morning and late at night. There was plenty of space for my family and my sister's to enjoy without getting in each others way. The views are excellent and the walk down to the station resturant was relaxing the walk back up was a little more challenging but ment we didn't feel guilty of the extra puds and wine.
The beaches were excellent we paticularly enjoyed Sagra where the kids seemed to love surf boarding in the huge waves so much I had to join in wearing shorts and t-shirt much to my sons disgust as Iam not quite up for miss wet t-shirt of the year. We will be returning next year.

Well appointed villa in excellent location

We have enjoyed two holidays in this well appointed and very comfortable villa. The planning of the villa means that two familiies can holiday together comfortably. The good sized pool keeps the children happy, whilst a terrace on two sides of the villa means that there is usually some shade from the sun for the non sun worshipper.
The location is very private and peaceful but a short drive takes you to excellent supermarkets and restaurants to suit all pockets. There are numerous activites available in the vicinity and a good choice of beaches which are well kept with a good selection of bars and restaurants.

James. The property was wonderfully clean, well presented, fully maintained and the gardens lit up at night made our arrival special. The children were straight into the pool, and the aspect and view made it a pleasure to sit on the balcony and watch them (also convenient for cold drinks :-) ). The hillside does appear to give you sun but enough cool breeze to make it very pleasant all the time. We've stayed elsewhere and found the nights too hot, but the location and property here are very comfortable in the evenings. The location is superb - a short walk / cycle to some fine restaurants and even more within an easy drive. The beaches are a short drive, but more than worth it for the variety, quality and local atmosphere. Anything that can persuade us to snorkel (the fish!) and still find time to relax has to be good. Will definitely return (work and time )permitting. Have recommended to friends, and will continue to do so.
