Reviews of Property: Beautiful groundfloor 2 bedroom holiday rentals apartment at the coast shoreline

Our stay in Villa da Praia was superb, the location of the complex is perfect for the beach and also Alvor town, the complex has a secure entry so feels very safe. The apartment is well situated on the ground floor over looking the Pool, and is very well equiped, its is very clean and perfect for a couple or a family. Paulo was very helpfull throughout and also arranged a very good transfer from Faro to Alvor. It is our 4th time in Alvor and we would definately stay at this apartment again. No negatives to mention

August 2009 - this is the second time we have holidayed in Paulo's apartment. It is two bedroomed which is great for our two boys and us. The pool is literally a stone's throw from the apartment terrace, so you can pop backwards and forwards as you wish. The apartment itself is spotlessly clean and Paulo's Dad is always there to meet you on arrival. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a relaxing poolside holiday - although there is much to explore on the island if you can drag yourself away from the pool!

Thank you very much for a beautiful apartment which was exactly what we required. Near enough to the Beach to allow us to have a nice walk every day and a lovely pool which, allowed some of us to have a quiet morning swim. The facilities in the apartment were excellent apart from now understanding the locking system in the front door and locking ourselves out on a few occasions so perhaps for the dummies like us it would be an idea to have some instruction about it on the inside of the door. The Village of Alvor retains much of its original charm and again we were but a short walk from its centre. Thank you again and I hope we can return in the near future

Stayed here October 2007 with husband and 2 older teenage daughters (this apartment) and my sister, her young daughter and our senior citizen parents (another apartment close by) and we had the perfect holiday! Have been to Alvor twice previously so we really love the place and knew the location of these apartments would be perfect for access to the town (5 minute walk) and the beach (5 minute walk). 1st impression of apartment was extremely pleasing, lots of space and immaculate but simple decoration along with a welcome bowl of fruit! All our needs were catered for - you only need to bring a toothbrush and wash equipment! As per photo this apartment opens onto the pool, a perfect setting for breakfast as you get the sun here from early morning to mid afternoon when you can move out onto the pool area!Access to the complex is via a security entry system with parking within the grounds. Can thoroughly recommend.

This 2 bed property is in an excellect location just 5 minutes stroll from both the beach and town of Alvor. Both bedrooms are spacious with plenty of storage. The kitchen is fully equipped with all mod cons. The living area is comfortable with tv and dvd player - essential with young kids. There is air con in the living room and one of the bedrooms, the 2nd bedroom has a large fan. As this property is on the ground floor it does not have a view of the sea however its aspect is directly onto the pool which enables you to stay on your own patio for sunbathing which is very handy. It is in very close proximity to the beach and town so there is no need to hire a car unless you want to travel further afield. All the restaurants we went to in Alvor were excellent especially if you love fresh fish - as far as I can tell all fish was freshly caught that day! Those in the harbour area all have a 'street-side' bbq where they cook all the fish and meat. The Italian restaurant is also very good especially if you can get a table on the top floor with the view over the town and harbour. We enjoyed our holidy in Alvor so much that we are going to go there again next year! Now that's a recommendation!!
