Our stay in this apartment 4-11 July 2009

A brilliant location! You can walk to the centre of Sainte-Maxime in approximately 20 minutes with pavements all the way. The centre is very lively with plenty of bars, shops, restaurants and even a casino. It has a lovely market where you can stock up on delicious local produce to barbeque on the terrace and, of course, you have the beach and marina areas.

A definite bonus is the fact that for 12 euros you can get a return ferry to St. Tropez which takes 15 minutes thereby avoiding the heavy holiday traffic in high season.

We were a party of 5 adults and found the accommodation very spacious and well equipped. The setting is very tranquil, the pool is spotlessly maintained with plenty of loungers and a nice shady poolhouse area.

This is an ideal location for those wanting peace and quiet with the options of great sightseeing, nightlife, dining out, people watching, shopping and beaches.

golden place in sunny cote d'azur

Review Submitted: September 18, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
This is a dreamplace for a complete holidays. The apartment is very well equiped and lies beautifull in a safe area. From the living room (or the mastersbedroom) you step out in a well preserved pine wood. It gives you easy feelings.BBq-ing on the veranda makes you feel back in nature. When to hot; a three minute walk brings you to the nice swimmingpool which is clean and has sunny and shadow places. In short, when this is not enough, what can be?
The return of centre of St. Maxime is a bit heavy because its going uphill, we rented a bike but its better to rent a scooter/motorbike.
Tips for a trip; 2 beautifull golfcourses a hilly one with very well conditions, the othes with smashing views. The beaches along the coast, a trip to the old centre of Frejus a boat trip to Cannes and St. Tropez and most of all a trip to Menton.
The owner was very correct and provided good service.
We will be back!

Peaceful haven

The apartment was clean and well equipped, the balcony was used every day for our meals although there was ample seating arrangements indoors. The owners made the booking easy, communicated regularly and seemed genuine. The manageress Sandrine was nothing but helpful even when we had left our Blackberry behind, she went out of her way to returnit to us. The site complex was neat and well maintained, the pool was crystal clear and had adequate loungers.
The town a little too far to walk although undertaken once was lively and had something on most days and evenings. Good choice of resturants at various prices and intereting little shops. For those with children Aqualand is just up the road.A very relaxing and enjoyable time was had and would recommend to friends and family.

Holiday August 2008

nrksp Nottingham
Review Submitted: January 10, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2008
This is a great apartment set in private grounds on the hillside just above Ste Maxime. The apartment location is convenient with Ste Maxime town, beaches and a good supermarket all only a few minutes drive away. The property was clean and well maintained, and the free Internet access was useful for the family. The patio area was lovely for relaxing, and eating meals.

Ste Maxime itself is a pretty town, with plenty of narrow streets to wander round and some lovely places to eat. Although the property is set in quiet surroundings on the edge of Ste Maxime, nearby there is plenty to do for the family. There are some excellent sandy beaches, such as La Nartelle, and the Aqualand water park. We tried ‘Arbres et Aventures’, a great high wire forest adventure course of rope bridges and swings, and the boat trip to St Tropez and Port Grimaud is a must. Further afield, I can recommend spending a day at Lac St Cassiene about an hours drive away, which is a beautiful inland freshwater lake where you can swim, and hire canoes and pedallos. Cannes and Nice are also worth a visit, although if driving avoid peak times as the coast road can be extremely busy.

The owners were friendly and helpful, suggesting many places to visit.

Can thoroughly recommend !

a perfect place to enjoy the beautiful Cote d'Azur

Review Submitted: December 16, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
The apartment is located in Sainte-Maxime a lovely village with a charming and welcoming atmosphere. Sainte-Maxime is the perfect starting point to visit Saint-Tropez which is 10' away by car or by boat but as well plenty of small and typical villages (Gassin, Ramatuelle etc....).

The apartment is very well equipped and nicely decorated. You will immediately feel at home. To get to the swimming pool you will have to walk 5' which will give you the opportunity to cross a beautiful pine wood.

And the beaches? plenty of sandy beaches are at 10' by car. Try 'la Nartelle' and enjoy the private beach called 'Le Mahi' . Excellent service, beautiful location and excellent food!

Have a nice stay!

Owner's Response: The swimming-pool is located on the same piece of land as the residence (same complex), but far enough not to hear the noise from the apartment..... The pine wood belongs to the complex.

Holiday July 2008

Family from UK Nottingham
Review Submitted: December 15, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
A fabulous apartment, really nicely decorated with great facilities and we throughly enjoyed our holiday.

The owners kept in regular contact and the lady who has keys to the apartment was also very helpful.

We did find the walk to town a bit far with two small children but the location other than this was good.

As a final point, the pool was out of action when we were on holiday. It would be worth checking all is okay for this summer; please note the owners were very apologetic and fair on this matter.

Owner's Response: A major construction problem with the pool was detected during summer 2008 : it resulted in pool closing for summer season in order to conduct in-depth repair. The pool still being under warranty, the procedure took a long time. It is now fully completed. Our guests will enjoy the pool again during summer 2009 as usual.
