We stayed at Villa Elaia for 5 nights in September and enjoyed our stay a lot. Our apartament (nr 4) had a splendid sea view and a nice terrace, the apartament is really as nice as at the pictures. Kitchen is also well equipped, the only inconvenience is that there isn't even salt in the apartament so in case you want to cook yourself, you have to buy everything!
Santa Maria di Castellabate about one km from the apartament (townhill, so its a bit climbing back) is a charming little village with nice beach and friendly people. I would recommend it to anyone seeking for peaceful and quiet vacation.

My girlfriend and I stayed in Biancolilla for five days in early October. The weather was great, the village and beaches were crowd-free, and our accomodation was excellent. I enjoy cooking and found the kitchen amenities to be quite good. The decor is neat, warm and tasteful, and the welcome and support provided by Alfonso was courteous and attentive without being intrusive. Altogether a very nice place to stay.

We stayed in the Villa (apartment Nocellara) for nine days in September 2009. When we arrived we found a beautiful and very clean place to stay with a terrace that offered a tremendous view onto the sea. Everything was as described by the friendly owner Alfonso. He and his wife were very helpful whenever we needed support. We highly recommend the Villa, witch is just a ten minutes walk away from the beach. Below the villa ( 100 m) is the Strada Statale 267. That might disturb very noise sensitive people, but didn't affect our holidays at all. We enjoyed the days in St. Maria di Castellabate and the Villa.

My husband and I chose Villa Elaia for our late winter Honeymoon. We were very pleased. It is a beautiful, very clean villa located in a gorgeous area. We had trouble finding it, though, as it is up on a hill. Make sure you look at the map before you leave. We were very satisfied! They are beautifully decorated inside. Alfonso speaks good english and is extremely kind and helpful! Thank you Alfonso! Although our trip had to be cut short, we greatly enjoyed our stay. In the winter months, it was much colder than we expected in Santa Maria di Castellabate. There are heaters in the Villa that kept the chill off, but I believe it would make a better rental in the summer months. Also, the town is very deserted in the wintertime. Many places are closed, and there are few people around. You must know Italian, because it is rare that you'll find someone who speaks english in the off-season. I'm sure there is a vibrant Italian seaside feel in the summer, but we saw a different side of it. Beautiful nonetheless. We cooked most of our meals in the Villa and ate on the balcony overlooking the sea! We will cherish the memories! Thank you Alfonso! You did a beautiful job on this Villa! We have been visiting Villa Elaia and St Maria di Castellabate now for the third time, and we are really very happy about our vacation there. The appartment is very nice, clean, everything is working wirhout problem and the service is exellent! The view from the appartment is just fantastic! The little village of St Maria is very charming, with many nice shops and restaurants, and wounderfoul beaches. We recommend Villa Elaia and St Maria to all those who looks for a good living!

War wunderschön, sehr gepflegte saubere Wohnung.
Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und gibt super Tipps und der Ort St.Maria ist ein kleiner schöner typisch italienischer Ort.
Wir waren rundum begeistert und werden sicher wieder einmal hinfahren.
Die Beschreibungen passen genau.

The apartment was perfect for us. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. The appliances and A/C worked properly and the owner was very helpful with everything we needed. The view over the balcony of the island of Capri and the sun setting behind it was one of our favorite things of our trip. The apartment has on-site parking which I found isn't always the case. I would highly recommend this apartment or any of the apartments this owner has available. Thanks again for everything! Arrivederci!

We stayed in Villa Elaia in April 2009 and had a fabulous holiday. The Villa is very clean and well equipped but the best thing has to be the views from the balcony. Our balcony was huge and the villa is on a hill so we had uninterrupted views across the bay and of the sunset every evening.
Alfonso is extremely friendly and helpful and his directions to the villa were spot on. The village of Santa Maria di Castellabate is quite small but the locals are great and so friendly - particularly if you have small children with you - and the beach is beautiful.
