My husband and I stayed at the Millennium Haus for our honeymoon. It was such a wonderfu trip and we had a lovely stay there. This was our first time traveling to Switzerland and the owner, Silvia, was very prompt and helpful answering any questions we had.
Everything was easy, travel in Switzerland, getting to the Millennium Haus, and navigating through Zermatt. The apartment was very clean and cozy and we had a bottle of Champaign awaiting for us upon arrival. Also, there is a black book of information on suggestions of where to go shop, get grocercies, restaurant information, and maps. This book came in very for us handy! The apartment had comfort of home ammenities. We didn't use the broadband. We broght a couple of CD's with us but the player didn't recognized our disks (coming from a different region.)
The view is quite impressive from the apartment! It was a pleasure to see the Matterhorn on clear days right from the apartment! We enjoyed the carlessness, quiet, and beauty of Zermatt. We walked around and explored Zermatt, and ventured on trails leading away from the villiage to have some more impressive views.
We traveled during off season which was more affordable for us, some of the restaurants weren't open when we were there, but using the Black Book we were able to find more options for eating out.
We had a nice romantic getaway, I would definitey recommend my friends to stay at the Millennium Haus. This place would also be great for a small family too!
Thank you Silvia for the champaign and all the help addressing our questions. You have a lovely apartment. Stephani & Jason
